I still don't understand why people think it's wierd that rain doesn't come in the summer. Here, in israel, the land of the Normal, when it's cold(a short winter) it rains, when it's hot(the rest of the year) it doesn't.

Christmas is a religious holiday for me, considering I'm Catholic Christian. We go to church on Christmas Eve and go home to eat flank steak and mashed potatoes. Christmas here was a little *too* white. I think of Christmas as a time for family and giving, but we were snowed in for the day we were all supposed to get together. In the end it all turned out alright though and we got two make-up Christmas celebrations (and one to be expected).
