@limegreendarlene bjr le canada je técris de pau cité du béarne France, est tu venu en france!moi je suis allée au canada le québec. bonne musique, bonne soiré.
A Note of trivia here : though he's not given the credit, it was Carl who 1st played the legendary Rickenbacker 12 string guitar--a year before Roger McGuinn did it with The Byrds. Carl chose to let Roger play in the vid & on this recording. A Vocal masterpiece, produced by Terry Melcher, arranged by Carl. Hal Blaine's drums, & Tom Scott's tenor sax. Wolfsky9
The Lyric : " The Preacher Lights The Coals, he knows I'm gonna stay." It's not " Likes the cold". Listen carefully. A Masterpiece. Carl, we miss you more as the years go on. Wolfsky9
@idic5 Sir, Sadly, BW had nothing--at all- to do with making this vocal masterpiece. Because of Eugene Landy, BW did not participate at all. Carl arranged vocals, & Terry Melcher arranged music; Roger mcGuinn added the Jingle jangle sound of his Rickenbacker 12 string, & Tom Scott screamed on his Alto Sax. A tour de force, period. Wolfsky9
Wow! Thanks Olive! aka Lime green darlene. I feel special that ya made this vid for me. Quite a trip the juxtuposition of the beech with the brrrrrrrrrr cold of that day in your stomping grounds! I love the pic of olive at the end. LOL Merry Christmas!!! ~cg

Although I love the BBs, Cass Elliot takes a bit of beating. Her rendition of CD is the best.
