For fuck's sake, the director wanted UNKNOWN or NEW actors so that the tragic circumstances of this film could be better projected. Had they cast, Tom Cruise, Brad Pitt, Johnny Depp or Keanu Reeves in the lead, it wouldnt seem as real nor depicted such story of union, human nature and determination. Plus if you call this movie bad acting, Im afraid what might be thought of if u found out the survivors put on their best clothes and combed their hair as best as they could when they were rescued.

Also, I read somewhere that Ferradas was half decapitated aswell, he was in the more crushed bit of the cockpit. Suzanna Parrado died of severe internal bleeding after 8 days
