Interesting track with strange lyrics. I've just discovered this band after watching 28 Days Later and their music is certainly quite captivating. The words are almost like those of a woman who is confused and wanting a short-term affair with a man whom she doesn't really love. That's my interpretation. Weird yet haunting.

I personally give the "Thumbs" rating system zero credibility not because of individual tastes but that it's always used in exactly the baffling fashion that bemuses you. There are people who will give negative feedback to anything - perhaps even the ability to breathe. I discovered this tune and its soft mesmerization in a bunch of Thievery Corporation tracks. Baconbit - I just found out about the Rooms myself! (Love Pandora's variety - hate their growing commercialization.)

There is nothing dark about this song, it's a simple message about finding the right person to fall in love with but understanding that it cannot happen. wanting something you cant have is the most annoying thing in the world, especially when it comes to the opposite sex, a finely picked sample by Andy Dragazis which worked well with the easy going lounge effect, tip of the hat to Blue States :}

This track always creeped me out back in the day. I always thought it was about a ghost that's singing from beyond the grave, to the stalker that was obsessed with her and, eventually, killed her. The tune has a kind of ethereal quality to it that's unnerving.
