I think it's not that the women don't have love for different types of Asians. I think they just use those examples because that's what they are expsoed to the most, because that's what's most accessible. It's easy to get a hold of some Kpop, Jpop & C, K & J Dramas, but harder to get hold of Thai media so they reference what they know.
I believe some of the women have developed a fetish because of Kpop, Jrock, anime, etc. So they focus on a particular type of asian. Obviously most asians have similar features that categorize them as being of Asian decent so it should not depend on what country he is from if you like AM. I just love an Asian man's eye as well as the culture he has. I just have a deep interest in most asian & african cultures considering they are so very linked as shown through history. I only date BM & AM.

A crush on a chinese guy say, may be the key that opens the door to a variety of asian cultures. I am a black women who until about a year ago would not have considered dating an asian guy. my now ex is taiwanese... i use to tell myself i only like korean boys because of kikwang taeyang and bi rain, but i changed after i met him....he heard me listening to kpop on the bus once and he laughed at me, then he told me he was korean so we started dating but then i said i like instant noodles (the dance crew) he said good cuz im really taiwanese.. i was suprised becuz i swore i knew a korean boy when i saw one, but he proved me wrong

I agree with you that all Asians should be included in the dating pool for BW and women in general. But I think it might be like women see J, K, and C culture more often and notice how J's act and how their style is different from K or K from C, whatever ABCDEFG....lol. But like they see a particular style or personality in the Asian country and fixate on the country. Or crush on one guy so now they just like guys from that same country. I think it's not that the women don't have love for different types of Asians. I think they just use those examples because that's what they are expsoed to the most, because that's what's most accessible. It's easy to get a hold of some Kpop, Jpop & C, K & J Dramas, but harder to get hold of Thai media so they reference what they know.

I believe some of the women have developed a fetish because of Kpop, Jrock, anime, etc. So they focus on a particular type of asian. Obviously most asians have similar features that categorize them as being of Asian decent so it should not depend on what country he is from if you like AM. I just love an Asian man's eye as well as the culture he has. I just have a deep interest in most asian & african cultures considering they are so very linked as shown through history. I only date BM & AM.

I hate hearing people say I only date white girls or white men etc. I could never respect someone that tells me I want a black girl. That’s so superficial. I totally agree. And one reason why people speak more about Korean, Japanese, or Chinese is due to a lot of influence within America or in the media within America. Most girls shouldn't care about your background, as you said, and once they see that you're asian, they'll just forget or not even care that your Thai and not the ones mentioned above.

Personally, I think people assume that when ur into AMBW relationships it's for Chinese/Japanese/Korean men because those are the more traditional Asian countries that are usually more closed minded to dating outside of their race. Not that everyone in those countries are closed minded about it, but u usually see more pacific islanders dating out side their race here in America.
