Or maybe some of us advance to type III status and find a new planet to live on, and others stay. Regardless, a thousand years from now, if there is any human life at all, nuclear power and waste will be an extremely trivial matter (no pun intended) for them.

@22ness0hayden Our nuclear waste dumps are marked in multiple languages telling people what it is. They are also marked with pictures indicating what it is and that it is dangerous. Illustrations of unstable atoms as well as skulls etc. I know that sounds funny but it was a huge issue several yrs ago at a waste dump here in New Mexico.

@22ness0hayden They can. I don't recall what they eventually settled on but all the options were metals that don't degrade over time. I want to say it was silver but don't quote me on that. They actually put a huge amount of thought into how to dispose of nuclear waste. It is also very deep underground. Unlikely to ever be seen again. lol Nuclear waste. Fun stuff. :)

im born and raised in jersey i know that the british never stepped foot on the island during and after ww2 Churchill thought putting troops on Jersey would be too risky and leave britatin exposed so he left all of the channel islands with no one to help them eventually the germans occupied Jersey,Guernsey and Alderney at which time churchill still didnºt care about the channel islands so he left the islands to starve
