The fact is Amy and Josh were really close, they spent a lot of time together as kids and he is still really protective of her and tries to involve her in his life. What Josh was doing on that double date, at least how it felt to me, was very out of line. He was basically interrogating Amy's bf and in response, the guy looked very uncomfortable. Amy and her guy decided to respect Josh and Anna's religion by not kissing but Josh has to make the whole situation uncomfortable by 'testing' Amy's guy to see if he lives up to his religious values and expectations. Thats very judgmental. Amy went out of her way to respect Josh- why can't he do the same for her?
