For me, one of the best arguments for Badiou's idea of philosophy as that which attempts to think together the truths from each of its four conditions, is his own extraordinary treatments of poets and poetry. It constantly amazes me the way he manages, less to offer readings of interpretations of poems, but to really think them in response to thouhts given by the other (amorous, poltiical, or mathematical) truths that has set a particular thought into motion. Maestro piu profondo indeed...
