  • We love your playing Heather. I've been playing for over 40 years. I agree with zerussomaniac, spend less energy in active positions. Reset aspects of the kit and use more fingers and wrists. Keep elbows down. Then, when you need to you can get to where you need to go, just not most of the time. When you are young it is easy to get away with less technique as you are strong. The older you get, the better your technique must become. So we are trying to get you there sooner than later. Best to u!

  • i had the same problem as this girl...keep your arms closer to your body you'll expend less energy. use your wrists and fingers more than your arms. my drum teacher made my tie a belt around my arms.

  • sounds great! how long did you work on this?

  • @drumdrumdrumfun I think we had a month or 2 to prepare this

  • She played fewer than half of the notes. Maybe a grey page. Still quite hard.

  • @avantrockman She played it exactly as the music score was written when given to her for the performance by her music professor.

  • @avantrockman

I have a copy of the original music as well as a pdf with clearer notation if you wish to challenge my accuracy. I played every single note written on the black page

  • Heather....Rules!!

  • I don't think there's anything out there that I like by Frank Zappa, but she is awesome at what she does.

  • Whoop!

    Heather rox muh gloves off!

  • She really has "balls"!

    (in a positive way)
