Rally will never be the same without Subaru, Mitsubishi and some of the other famous brands from the late 90s and early 2000s :(
I also fucking hate the way the cars look compared to the older cars... I mean seriously.. they look like a vehicle a soccer mom would drive, pathetic.
Well it's just like *cringe* fistymcbuttpuncher stated, I want to see whole runs rather than a few highlights and their times, but it seems that is just the way it is now, I think they should just do similar format to BTCC or WTCC on rally courses, that would be entertainment!
i love rally races, but really really really hate the way they show it now :( i want to see all the FULL runs, instead they give us stupid highlights and sum-ups ><
thats what killed rally in the "mainstream" imo and its frickin sad
Awww god, that's it, WRC is done for me, cant watch it anymore, a world away from the great WRC machines of 97/98/99/00/01...McRae, Kankkunen, Makinen, Auriol, Sainz, Gronholm etc fighting for stage wins....this is just a pile of piss in comparison, such a shame. Maybe no one else agrees, but I feel this is shit....and not in the spirit of rallying that I got hooked on.
@TheMiles302 Im not sure if they are, but what i meant is the cars now are completely different to the production version which they sell in the showrooms, back in the days you could virtually buy the actual rally car from the show room, but these cars are completely different, they use different engine, gearbox, drivetrain etc etc, these rally cars are also worth close to a million pounds
@112leo He signed for Volkswagen, but the WRC car will be ready for 2013 season. So this year he is driving a Skoda S2000 (volkswagen group) and he's working to prepare the new car (Polo WRC).
Thank you for posting this. Those of us ralley fans in North America must watch NASCAR. Boring!! Please keep posting stuff like this so we can follow the 2012 WRC season!!!
@dfw1991 it's because eurosport events is now the promoter of the wrc, North One have been evicted after their russian boss got into some financial affairs
@DiscipledeJah I know about NorthOne and Eurosport taking over, I just think they did a poor job on the commentary on this vid. Could have put in a few more onboards and end of stage interviews aswell instead of the heli shots. It seems to be a cheap way of getting footage out there and not putting out a message that its a quality sport!!

Rallying has to change with the times. Even the maufacturers have no choice in the matter.
Really disapointed Kris Meeke isn't with Mini. He was looking so promising and deserves to be there.
This was the guy Colin Mc rae had huge expectations for.
