I felt really proud working on these credits. There was only one diva fit and it wasn't anyone you would think of. We had a great family. I'm glad I had my time with AMC, I just wish the network had put a daytime head in that believed in daytime.

I like Mia's hair short like that. I think the actress had it long for most of her time on the show, like she does on Y&R.

I really started watching AMC when this theme and graphic was kicking. AMC still had life in it at that time. Now, the show is running on empty. They need to bring this opening back. It's better then that stupid graphic opening they have now and have been using for now 6 years.

This is so when AMC had characters that actually meant something. Like every character (with the exception of Frank in my opinion) brought something to the show. Now... you have Zach, Kendall, Erica, Jack, Greens (to a point), Angie, Jessie, Adam, and Tad... to me those are the only ones worth mentioning anymore... maybe Krystal just because Bobbie Eakes is a good actress.

So true, it feels like now, the show only focuses on these few characters and little time on the new characters. Dre has been on the show for a long while now and he's only had so little storyline.

Exactly. Just a few years ago, when new characters came on board, they actually meant something. Now, its just like they are filler for the show because they feel like they can't just have a few characters.

I agree... I enjoyed this whole cast, again, with the possible exception of that particular incarnation of Frankie. Trey did nothing for me either.

@jimmypi I liked Frank(ie). It was finally something other than Kendall/Ryan and Greenlee/Lep! Basically, the whole year of 2002 focused on nothing but those pairs. There was the Proteus storyline and later on, Frankie was involved with Simone and Mia in storylines. It was a change to have the focus on several minor cast members rather than one or two major characters. Of course, I can scarcely find any clips of Proteus or the old Frankie. There was the Mia/Liza/Adam/Jake stuff in 2002, too.

I was so pissed off when they did away with this opening after less than two years. It brought back the true essence that the 1990-1994 theme captured and just put a modern spin on it. I know it was hard to update but man, one of the best openings in the history of soaps.
