Some of THE BEST fun I have ever had in EVE has been with the small ships, in fact the good old Rifter is still a fav with a lot of players that are able to fly them.

As for the cost of EVE it is now $51 Aust. for 60 days of EVE so it is starting to cost a bit too much & it probably needs to be looked into again IF CCP wants to get a better increase in player numbers.

Knock $5 off the cost of the 60 day GTC and that will be made up by new paying players...

uhmmm you do know that all you need to do is to make another account and make a mining alt, then you earn 1 - 5 billion isk month in 0.0 sec after 6 month skill training. and you can pay the cost of two accounts (630mio isk/month)

It does not matter how many videos I have watched because I dont have problems paying $15 a month. 2 Hours a month at your typical retail job say on sunday and you can pay for eve. MMORPGs are the cheapest form of entertainment out there. Then again by following your logic since I can afford EvE im some spoiled teenager still living with his parents. seeing as you are already paying for a computer and internet connection, the extra 15 a month should be no problem.

no cockpit, the squares are otehr players, red = enemy purple/blue= friendly

when you die your ship and all cargo and fittings is destroyed or dropped as loot, you then have a capsule to escape with, or get that blown up too and be back at a station without implants and skills if you dont have a clone

I do love this game. What most people don't realize that don't play eve is that all those little dots are players or drones/fighters controlled by players. Eve has the largest scale PvP ever. Freakin' epic.

Ok. Goonfleet doesn't care how many skillpoints you have, if you can fit a warp disruptor to a newbie frig, your in. The catch is, you have to be a member of the Something Awful forums, for more than 3 months. The swarm has corps that are not forums based, however most of THOSE corps, do have SP and other security checks.

I was in this battle on the goons side, and there were aprox. 400-600 ppl slugging it out in the first battle on the gate. This was the first battle, I cant beleive this guy wasnt lagging because I was. At one point ppl had 15min module lag.
