@jeffrailey well...i'm glad you like kiss and enjoy their music,but you keep bringing up " better musicians " complexity doesn't make a good song...as i already mentioned.i think angus is a better guitar player than anyone from kiss....but the rest of ac/dc is pretty plain.thats their style that makes them who they are and it's what got them their success.they was already big in other countries and had released high voltage before they were even associated with kiss.
@jeffrailey ac/dc was going to make it big regardless of who they toured with.you can't say that kiss are responsible for helping ac/dc when they were already big in other parts of the world.remember ac/dc also started in 73 and never toured with kiss till around 76-77.they also toured with sabbath,aerosmith,styx,blue oyster cult before kiss.anyways...thanx for speaking your mind in an intelligent respectful manner.it's refreshing to know there are some kiss fans who are not total dickheads.
I saw them in concert twice, figured I'd give it a couple of times before I came to any slight and pretty much irrelevant conclusion, in the overall scheme of things; I was not impressed.

Rock And Roll History that will never be taken away. The following bands (and much more than I list) stated that they've been influenced by Kiss: Metallica, Slash, Motley Crue, White Zombie, Lenny Kravitz, Garth Brooks (he performed a version of the Kiss classic, 'Hard Luck Woman').

kiss came out looking and sounding like no one else in 73 ,,they had some great albums and some not..like every band they have had their ups and downs,,but kiss today is still fantastic -saw shows in the past few years and they are tight and flawless musically ..i loved ace and peter , but it's clear kiss coudn't continue with them..i saw kiss in quebec canada play to 90000 people last summer..incredible..ac/dc -rush-bonjovi-motleycrue-ironmaiden-wasp-poison-j priest etc have opened for kiss

@DylanBStringer91 Kiss has not been selling out since 75. They cut short the Creatures tour due to poor ticket sales and The Elder tour was abandoned without playing a single show due to the album selling so poorly. They played a show in England last month that was half empty. I saw them on the Revenge tour and the Crazy Nights tour, both of those shows were far from sold out and the Crazy Nights stage show was very poor.

Rock And Roll History that will never be taken away. The following bands (and much more than I list) stated that they've been influenced by Kiss: Metallica, Slash, Motley Crue, White Zombie, Lenny Kravitz, Garth Brooks (he performed a version of the Kiss classic, 'Hard Luck Woman').

ac/dc. Yeah, Kiss is a money making machine, but their music is so much more diverse: Detroit Rock City, Hard Luck Woman, A World Without Heroes, Beth,
Strutter, Black Diamond, etc. Besides Paul Stanley can sing. That fool from ac/dc, Brian Johnson, cannot sing. Besides Paul Stanley was the Lead Role in Phantom of the Opera. Now, the frontman from ac/dc could not accomplish that!

I think with Eric Carr & Bruce Kullick in te 80s they got the perfect balance in the band. For me the best Kiss. 90% desagree, but i still think that was the best Kiss.

kiss came out looking and sounding like no one else in 73 ,,they had some great albums and some not..like every band they have had their ups and downs,,but kiss today is still fantastic -saw shows in the past few years and they are tight and flawless musically ..i loved ace and peter , but it's clear kiss coudn't continue with them..i saw kiss in quebec canada play to 90000 people last summer..incredible..ac/dc -rush-bonjovi-motleycrue-ironmaiden-wasp-poison-j priest etc have opened for kiss

They cut short the Creatures tour due to poor ticket sales and The Elder tour was abandoned without playing a single show due to the album selling so poorly. They played a show in England last month that was half empty. I saw them on the Revenge tour and the Crazy Nights tour, both of those shows were far from sold out and the Crazy Nights stage show was very poor.

@DylanBStringer91 Led Zeppelin, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan.The Who., Willie Nelson, Merle Haggard, and many more, but Kiss is/or was a bad ass concert to see. I have seen them approx 7-8 times. all good shows many years ago.
