@pbjshow4u You can't use layers on Paint. I think she's using Photoshop, which you have to pay lots for. Mind you, I personally think GIMP is a decent free art tool, and you can download it from the site.

Hi~ Would you mind answering a few questions for me? I'm hoping to improve a bit, but I don't think I have the proper tools ^^;

What program do you use? It looked like PS Elements?

What brush did you use for the shading and blending? It looked rougher than a regular soft or round brush.

And finally, what setting did you keep changing the brushes to? Was it the opacity?

And friend im happy with using my laptop's touch mouse thing for drawing. Be thankful that you have a mouse to draw with -_-

When you were shading, you seemed to be smudging, what effect was you using to do this - I am struggling on shading, it never looks right.

@origamicrane3004 First you pick a darker color of the base color and color on a new layer. Remember color away from the light source, then use the smudge tool and soften the edges. Pick a darker color then color on top, smudge again, and so on till you think it looks good enough.
