I love this film. Critics said horrible things about this film but I don't care. They criticized Mad Max 3, Rambo 3, Alien 3, Jurassic Park 3, X-Men 3, Mission Impossible 3, Resident Evil 3 but I loved all these films. The same with Spider-Man 3. Yes, it was weaker than previous two films but the storyline was interesting. Peter has 3 strong rivals including his darker side. Visual effects & fight scenes were impressive. Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst & James Franco were awesome

I honestly think Sandman was the best handled villain in the whole trilogy, best back story, best motives, best portrayal, and the scene where he comes to life for the first time is just remarkable. Thomas Haden Church is awesome too.

Spider-Man 3 sucked only because of the story and plot. There was too much drama and Mj was complaining too damn much. Peter looked emo when he was being his bad side. Topher Grace was bad choice to play Venom. They could have done WAY better with the 3rd picture.

@BigtimeDirector2005 Yeah, I heard Spider-Man 2's screen writer left Spider-Man 3 because Sony forced too much plot for him to work with. So Sam Raimi and his brother stepped in for writing duties. Not only that, but the studio was was really controlling and pushy and kept messing with their script. So much went wrong :-(
