also, make an annotation at 9:40 to take the dragonstone when you travel to whiterun , you will be told to get the dragonstone from the same dungeon its jsut time saving
My advice (Level 50) is to level up as much as possible and explore first before you take on harder enemies like Draugrs in the crypts, Dragon Priests, etc. Many people who do the Companion missions (werewolves) use the Wuuthrad to open the door of the final quest of that faction and simply leave the very powerful weapon there. Pick it back up and you can keep it, the door will stay open, it's one of the strongest weapons in the game and will help you tremendously, especially early in the game.
@wizkhalifaufc in river wood, go behind the place where they are sawing trees and pick up the axe. after that go to one of the wood cutting places just near by and start chopping! when you feel that you have enough go to Hog (your friends father(i think)) and sell them for a big profit!
@udierus It's located here: w w w . s k y r i m n e x u s . c o m (without spaces) also there is a mod that removes the spider webs. Please note that the animations on the replaced spiders don't work as intended, so they look kind of goofy. Hope this helps your aracnophobia since this is easily the game of the year. Just search for mod names: No Spiders & No Spider webs
@udierus I hate spiders too! Dont worry you should not be scared of theese spiders since there are noe spiders like this in the real world! i got a little bit scared.. but i bought it and its amazing!
@udierus I'm not to keen on spiders either, but not a massive phobia, you can always try shooting them with arrows or freezing their sac of an ass with some frost so at least you don't need to get close to them. )
Is there any way to "activate" the finishing moves? im playing a rogue type char, and ive seen people "stealth killing" enemies from behind, you see your character standing up from behind them, and cutting their throat.. how? :<
@MattBomBRoB If you're talking about the two handed sword in the beginning, i got it during the starting area of the game from one of the Stormcloaks.
Good idea, I haven't played this franchise before and it kind of throws you out into the world with no tutorial.. which is normally fine, but there's a lot of things it should teach you. I played through a sizeable chunk with -25% damage diseases
Your guide is perfect one thing i would recommend is doing the quest of riverwood with sven he will ask to deliver a letter after you complete the quest you will be able to get him as a companion hope it helped! =)
@thecoffebell I understand that. But to exaggerate the point I'm making, Imagine if you had to find a secret door in the side of a mountain just to unlock the jump key. There are certain elements of a game that should be straight forward and obvious, not everything should happen by chance.
@YtV16 Sure you can. Every character starts with the basic fire spell. I've made 2 hybrid classes already, wich are both warrior types with the mana base to support casting for great spells like chain lightning or fireball.
Am I reay to go on the "third trial" of the greybeards at level 5? Im unsure what lvls you need to continue with the main quest. Ive seen so many people doing sidequests but im unsure how to get them and where they are located, and which of them to do.
Would very much appreciate if you helped me with this, love your guides. Subbed.
@RunescapePKandGUIDE I will be covering the main quest line and all of the guilds missions later on. You could go do some side quests over at the mages guild at the college of Winterhold (north of Winterhold), or join the companions at Whiterun (Warriors guild). Or even do some of the missions for the thieves guild (you start the quest at the market over at Riften. There's a person that will ask you to plant a ring on someone that starts your thieves guild chain.) Hope this helps for now.
How the hell are you supposed to find all this stuff without already knowing about it? (Guardian stones for example) I was not told to go to that location
@ixcaliber I commented on the video that the Guardian stones are located northwest from Helgen. Also i show the locations in the video on the world map.
@WoS111111 You didn't really understand what I just asked, did you? I asked how are you supposed to know it without already knowing about it. So basically I didn't know about the stones until I watched this video, and I probably would have otherwise never found out.
I misunderstood the question indeed. I guess you're right. That's why i did this little video. There's also a few things that aren't shown on the game's tutorial part like how to sprint (default i think it was Alt) and no real explanation on what passive bonuses each race gives you..
Thanks a lot for this guide. I'm getting the game tonight so this will help me get started.
Also, you have a very cool accent.

This scared the shit out of me. I'm not sure to get the game now, i have arachneophobia, are there many spiders in this game?
udierus 3 months ago
@udierus Quite a few during some dungeons. I think there's a silly mod around that transforms all the spiders in the game to a bunch of bears. =)

@udierus do what i do imagine that its tiny and your massive so its the other way round and imagine squashing it like a bug
halocod6 2 months ago
@udierus trust me, you'll get over it. Just don't do close combat. Shooting spiders with bow and arrow does a lot to help with ur fear.
askmiller 2 months ago
@udierus I would be pretty cautious, because the spiders that are in the game are giant, ugly, and ugly. you may not want to get the game then
