omg that is huge! how much are you paying for that? sorry if that is too personal of a question, but I am going to apply for JET next year and want to get as much information as possible~
This apartment is better than the one I'm living in now. Are you sure this is Japan!? I got the impression that in Japan you had to live in a one tatami mat closet.
@rinaXtokyo JET is a teaching program. usually they have the apartments for you already so you never know what you're getting until you walk through the door...
oh my god! that's amazing. how much do you pay for that? also what town are you in? looks amazing! - I've just been accepted to JET, hope I get an apartment like yours!
@monkeystu52 it's a little on the expensive side compared to other JETs, but also much nicer. I won't go into details but I don't think JET will put you in anything unaffordable :) I'm only 20 minutes from Nagoya.
@cookiemonster891 it depends. What you see in my video was what I was provided with. I got pretty lucky. I've known some JETs who needed to buy their own furniture because their apartment was new.
Thanks! yeah I got really lucky with the apartment. it's meant for a family but somehow I manage to mess it all up just fine by myself! Also surprisingly miwa town isn't as small and detached as I thought it would be. On a clear day I can see the towers from my balcony!
wow, we must be much closer than we realize! haha. Miwa is on the meitetsu line on the way to saya/ yatomi (on the way to mie prefecture). There isn't much here or any reason for anyone to really know where it's at. mostly a quiet town for city workers and moms :)
yeah, I'm starting to see that now! I think I really need to take advantage of this and host more parties here. I do pay a little more than others for rent, but I can't really complain about my apartment!
Thanks! I know I got lucky with my placement. It's a little more on the expensive side compared to other JETs but a few people in the next city pay only 10,000 yen less a month and have much smaller apartments.

Why the hell is everything always so clean? The pavement looks spotless for christ's sake. lolz.

@DuykRuyk what pavement? and I promise everything is not always so clean....Japan really isn't that different from any other country in the world.

@willowwolff I was just exaggerating.

It's massive compared to most places i've seen! Still a nice apartment, I can imagine you pay alot of money for rent for it then.

THAT is the biggest jet apartment i've ever seen......but is inaka though
bmanson83 1 year ago
@bmanson83 if inaka is 20 minutes from Japan's 4th largest city, that's alright with me! ;)

do they provide like beds and stuff or do u need to buy them yourself?

Hi! Nice apartment! But I was wondering, do you have to furnish it yourself, or is it fully furnished?
mw457 1 year ago
@mw457 it depends. I didn't have to, but some of my friends were the first ones in their town as a JET so they had to furnish their apartment.
willowwolff 1 year ago
Wow, that's MUCH bigger, cleaner, and nicer than the place I lived in for my first 3 years in Nagoya! And, you have a view! Well done!

We can see the towers from our balcony, too. Still not quite sure where Miwa is, but can't be that far away.

where were you placed? it looks very nice.
Emmie1 2 years ago
I was placed just outside of Nagoya in a little town called Miwa. The town is small but close to everything so I think I'm pretty lucky!
willowwolff 2 years ago
OMG, your apartment is HUGE compared to the other apartments I seen. Lucky.
