This is a fuckin terrible scene... the whole point of the first film is that only Laurie (the virgin) is meant to be aware of the impending threat of Michael whilst Linda and Annie are meant to be oblivious of it a they're more concerned with boys and sex. If Linda is aware in this scene that they're being stalked why doesn't she seem slightly more concerned at any point later on in the film before her death?
for those who dont know.. these extended scenes were actually filmed during the production of halloween pt 2 in 1981, carpenter filmed these scenes to fill in time for the TV version.
I actually like these deleted scenes. They all add a little touch. The quiet scenes and scenes where the girls converse in the movie just give it that special feeling. i dnt know how to explaiin it.
They filmed the interiors of Laurie's house for these extended scenes inside the interior of Nancy's House from Nightmare on Elm Street, but the interiors used for Nightmare were filmed on a set.

Can'tbelieve they cut this scene!! It shows so much depth.

@Jawshieee
It wasn't cut. It was added during Halloween II production because they needed more footage to fill up the time slot for TV.

Who remembers having a bag like Jaime Lee? Do they still sell them? I remember mine which also had the plastic hanger strap handles!

I used to have the old VHS Anchor Bay copy of this full version w/ add scenes. I wish they'd put it on DVD.

This wonderful scene should have been kept in the film.
It shows that the girls were truly good friends.
As a child I would have loved to have a girl like Laurie protect me from harm.
