It's all produced at the same time, live on one flute. I saw him in Edinburgh a few years ago.
He has a battery of elect. sound processors in small boxes with foot switches on top.Whilst playing the flute brilliantly he's also his own sound engineer & dancer, doing some pretty nifty footwork on these boxes..delay, echoes, octave dividers. It's like the control panel of The Starship Enterprise at his feet. What a sound!
