idk y but i have some songs that didnt get that matched 3rd party content. BUT i do put the credits at the end for the songs that i USED not claimed. One video i had to find a dif song that went with it cause they removed the song! WTF its just music. Might as well get rid of CD's and internet and tv if you dont like people SHARING them.

I have a "Tekken this is Sparta" video uploaded a year ago. At the time it said it was blocked in some countries. Today I got a message saying it matches third party content. Owner: Warner Bros? Content: Sound. So I simply ask: WHAT THE FUCK? As far as I know, Warner Bros didn't make that remix so what the hell is going on here?

youtube says you have to get permission from the original artist if you want to cover one of their songs. well wtf, artists like metallica or iron maiden are getting millions and millions of messages how are they going to be able to respond to asking permission to cover a song for them?

The same happened to me. Some troll didn't like a remark I made to another person and threatened to take me down because he didn't like what I said, and the next day I get a third party crap notice on my latest video. It says that the video is still viewable but that adds may be placed on it in the future. WTF. Its just me jamming guitar over a couple of jam tracks. Like you said, karaoke type stuff. Any advise on how to handle it?

I some videos that have the 'Matched third party content' warning. I am wondering this: how does YouTube find this out so quickly? I don't even have the name of the music in the video, nor in the tags. It's mostly midi music. Do they have 'watch dogs' pulling in videos as fast as we post them to see if there is any music in them and if so, tack on that warning? Just curious.

If My tags are wrong to get to where this really needs to be, someone let me know and I will move this rot there....You Tube for the most part is a great idea and many are getting their stuff noticed but I just want to share my stuff and do NOT care if it gets popular or not!!
