Leave the special pitchers and devices to the newbies as a decent baristi doesn't need any tricks to get the job done to order. Just technique and a bit of skill.

Frankly speaking. As a Barista myself I think the speed when you volumize the milk affects the texture greatly . The pole in the centre doesnt go to the top. What if you are frothing a Latte and a Cappucino ( 8 oz) You need to bring the froth to the top so ,
@121294CTEK you wouldn't make milk for a latte and a cappucino in the same jug. There are different size jugs depending on quantities of drinks to be made. You would never fill a jug completely to the top in any case.
@gram86 Why wouldn't you? I've done milk for every drink type you can imagine, all in the same pitcher. I can even texture milk right in the damn shot glass. Furthermore, the guy was asking about milk expansion, not filling the pitcher all the way full to begin with. U look to be another wannabe punkass barista.
Are you using milk or cream? When I steam my milk it bubbles...could be because I use soy but I recall there always being tiny bubbles..I can never get mine that silky texture... can you recommend anything other than buying a new machine lol I spent quite a pretty penny on the one I have already
Wouldn't say lazy - Turnover of cafe staff is so high that it's unpractical for all businesses to send staff on barista training courses. This is a cost effective way of ensuring good coffee every time - pretty sure you would rather go into a cafe and get a nice coffee from someone using this than by someone with no training.
Its a product I designed. Its currently being trialled by 3 companies in the UK, so hopefully i will have some distributors purchasing it soon! Thanks!
Milk to perfection jugs are due to go on sale in the next couple days. Contact me on info@milktoperfection if you're still interested in purchasing any.

thanks for recording the sound of steaming the milk-other videos don't have it and it's harder to practice!
