Money & Profit is the reason it doesn't happen, it's would impossible to generate enough $ to do this even though the resources are available. It's just the way our monetary system functions, and as he said this is why it's fundamentally flawed. Money paralyzes us from progress.
If we eliminate the notion of money, resource management would be our prime focus. And with out money every human would be entitled to just as much as the next person, equality is possible.

I spit on the RBE.

@RealityGrapple Human nature? Fuck off, we are influenced by everything around us and that shapes our behaviour, so stop talking about "nature" and instead realize it's about behaviour. A sick society produces sick behaviours.

@RealityGrapple you clearly lack critical comprehension, he's talking about how we approach lifes situations. for example... when you fill up your tank tecnicaly you fill it with fuel. not money. so when it comes to deciding who gets to have what on this planet it makes no technical sense to live in the kind of pardigm that we live in today. if we want to continue our survival on this planet as a species we need to do so as efficiently as possible to sustain living conditions for new generations

@TheKiwiactivist101 Very, very well said. RBE is the "best" way for us at this very moment, which should lead us to an even better way of life for ALL earthlings. No one has to suffer because of the wants of a few people. We are ALL in this together, whether we like it or not, & should make contributions to further the advancement of ALL living things. This, in turn, will ABSOLUTELY come back to benefit each & every one of us many times over! If one cant see that, then they need to rethink life.
The idea that people will no longer have to work, and that everything will be provided by machines is a fundamental denial of human worth, and is the step for humanity into a literal Matrix type situation. It is of course the direction that the technology is headed, and we need to be fully aware of what it means. Basically total enslavement.
@HumanityMovement ummm an RBE is a fundamental denial of human worth...are u kidding me look around u ppl are working time-consuming meaningless jobs what you call money, ppl are sent as soldiers overseas to protect a nation interests when they actually think they are protecting their nation in the old sense.Ur telling me that this system is not exploiting and degrading the human species in anyway as well as the life supporting systems on this planet?
I assume u dont actually grasp what an RBE is. i also assume ur one of those ppl that think someone is worth something if they have job of some sort and if they dont they aint worth jak sht am i right? and if u have this view on life then u probably think automation of the labor force is a bad thing. Well allow me to clear some things up: All life on this planet is unique and does not have monetary value on their worth...
Automation technology in an RBE is meant to free ppl from the mundane and repetitive jobs, to be able to produce an abundance of resources, when ppl are relieved of these 'jobs' and have access to the necessities of life ppl will be able to be more creative, to contribute back to development of society and technology, to achieve a level of awareness never before seen, and to travel, to contribute to scientific advancement and knowledge, ur telling me this enslavement?

U also stated that this is a 'utopian' ideology if u have ever been on the zeitgeist movement website or the Venus Project u would know this to be false allow me to...
I'm really glad that this utopian ideologue is not taken very seriously. He has gone on record saying people who don't want to go along with his new world should be "re-educated" and he is a theosophic society person, promoting the new one world religion, that is at it's roots Luciferian. I don't believe in any of that but if you look at the writings of the theosophic society people, they openly talk about how wonderful Lucifer is....
@VoxLumina What fallacy? I've just studied the origins of the theosophic society, people's work that gets used in Peters work, and followed his theory to it's logical end, which is a denial of human worth. His theory is the fallacy. Like I said, he acts like he cares about humanity, but if you study the theories, it is not so. He puts forth a utopian vision that is not realistic, and will lead to total enslavement, just like all collectivist systems.
@HumanityMovement The system is simple, you just like over complicate things. If you think a resource based economy is so bad (utilizing science and technology to calculate and distribute our everyday needs) then what do you propose?
This is just the beginning and there is more to come.... we wont need to promote. The financial systems is collapsing.2008 crisis never passed... It wont be easy and there will be blood...
Zeitgeist Movement is nothing but hijack of grass root created unrest. The proposed Resource based economy is nothing but another form of controlled system, much like financial control system. Deception to bring One World Government!
With global network of resource allocation systems there will be no positions of power is an obvious lie anyone with rational thinking can figure out.
We will get what we deserve. Let us do our part so that we deserve the best!
@MultiSamsoon You should look at the movies, then you would know there would be no government. Seriously, all complaints i see about zeitgeist come from people who haven't even watched the movies...
@Anonymous247n That movies is lies laced with truth. No government?? Give me a break. It clearly is a deception by the people who will keep lying to their grave.
@MultiSamsoon It could be. But the system itself is the very best we could hope for. Just watch the movies and you'll know. Or go to the homepage of venus project and read the FAQ, your question is one of the very frequently asked ones i'm sure.
@MultiSamsoon What incentive would there be to control someone in an RBE? Food available at your finger-tips, free education for life, free transportation, free energy, access to state of the art studios, sound halls, athletic facilities, you name it. The beauty of it all is that no one is forced to participate, or calling an end to the -isms entirely. But lets face it, the majority of the world lives in poverty and would trash their outdated systems for an RBE. Would u agree?
1) Incentive of controlling others in an RBE is nothing different than controlling others in any type of system. The high some people get of the Power they seem to have!
2) "Food available at your finger-tips, free education for life, free transportation, free energy, access to state of the art studios, sound halls, athletic facilities, you name it." are nothing different from the lies that politicians tell people to get themselves to power. Nature have enough for everyone's need. We can have all the extra free stuff after making sure that a system where agenda cannot be hijacked in place. Everyone can then pitch in for how to have such.
3) Yes, let us face it that majority of the world lives in poverty. All these are created because of the greed of the globalists by installing puppet governments in countries, giving predatory loans and swindling the countries resources. How shameless should one be to suck blood out of others. RBE is clearly agenda of the greedy leeches.
@MultiSamsoon lol...well i don't know of any Greedy Leeches. But as long as money equals power, then the leeches will continue to swindle global resources to no end. What do you accomplish though once you've killed everyone, and the planet resembles Mars? Rhetorical. Why would the leeches agenda be TVP/RBE, clearly understanding they'd loose all power without money? You cannot control educated people without armies and debt. In an RBE there's neither.
"The popular idea, fostered by comic strips and the cheaper forms of science fiction, that intelligent machines must be malevolent entities hostile to man, is so absurd that it is hardly worth wasting energy to refute it. Those who picture machines as active enemies are merely projecting their own aggressiveness. The higher the intelligence, the greater the degree of co-cooperativeness. If there is ever a war between men and machines, it is easy to guess who will start it." ~Arthur C. Clarke
"The tremendous and still accelerating development of science and technology has not been accompanied by an equal development in social, economic, and political patterns...It is safe to predict that...such social inventions as modern-type Capitalism, Fascism, and Communism will be regarded as primitive experiments directed toward the adjustment of modern society to modern methods" ~ Dr. Ralph Linton

PJ's explanations are excellent, but I don't think he answered the last question: "Could the 1% hijack an RBE?"
A: No. The key being ALL directions of an RBE must be 100% open, classless, and update in real-time. No secrets. Open source.
Think of a branching repository of governmental rules, manufacturing methods, and technical designs. Anyone can create a branch at will, but only the best ideas are useful to society.
It's efficient, yet requires no leaders. No authority abuse. No corruption
So long as we don't get a sly switch - "Oh, while wer're waiting for the monelyess economy to kick in, lets use the most efficient, practical & scientific form of resource allocation, the RFID implant. Yeah, I know the bad guys wanted to use it but it's only until we set up our 'good' system. Remember, you have to accept new better ideas & you gotta admit, this is green & clean. It's for the greater good!". So yeah, beware of co opts.

@tehtriforce I know about "disaster capitalism" but this is outrageous!! I like a lot of Peter's ideas, but Im still hesitant to embrace the idea. For one: He seems to leap when he should be tip-toeing. If the Venus Project is so great, we would have already seen cities modeled after it. Peter just says "grassroot movement" right to "machine-controlled recource economy." See my point? Its not only difficult to imagine, but impossible, practically, in our current State.
@TheLastAnarchist69 I have watched all the TZM films. For one thing I would agree on you about him being (sometimes) unrealistic. Not to mislead, I was all into TZM until this thing seem get into his head too much. Peter is lucky to find TVP, because if you notice real carefully all the 'solution' that ever been presented in TZM originated from TVP. Without TVP, TZM is just bunch of barking dogs with no real mission or purpose. That's my opinion anyway. But now they split, it makes things weird.
@AfroBotSays Much unfortunate, but I'm afraid that's the closest thing even when I didn't agree with it. Don't get me wrong, I still think TZM is a brave attempt. But would you able to imagine what TZM would be if there's no such idea as RBE? From what I understand, TZM came out strong but landed weak, because there were not much technical ideas or even the sort of 'image' of the future-would-be. It was ambitious, but lacked substance. The idea of RBE makes everything fall into place.
@TheLastAnarchist69 I see your point, however my belief (and i must point out this is simply my view people can agree or disagree as they please) but my belief is that too many people are tip-toeing when we should all be leaping as fast as possible. If we dont advocate leaping in who will? I understand your concern that a too drastic a shift might scare people away from the idea.... but think of the consequences if we dont leap... iwe can see consequences today, people are suffering
@TheLastAnarchist69 as for why we havnt seen anything like it before - this is the same question people ask when all new frames of thought come into being. This is the first time people are really being faced with the depletion of critical element to our survival (fossil fuel) With an environment new ideas are created to cater for changes, the same way democracy came about. people were saying "why would anyone but the king decide what happens in the futur?e a king was put there by god....
@TheLastAnarchist69 The cities of the Venus Project aren't seen yet because most people are not psychologically ready for such cities. First they have to understand how the whole system works, especially the value system. We, the people, need to learn how to share and how to contribute for the benefit of all. As opposed to the current situation of fighting against others in order to gain.
Peter says that by crassroot movement we can stop this system from working, and in this short video he didn't go into specifics on how the transformation will work, he jumped to the conclusion. That doesn't mean you can't go find information yourself.
Yes I see your point. It is impossible in our current state, that is why we are moving forward.
@TheMidwestsk8ter Some people arent. I apologize. Repeatedly. Personally....I FUCKING HATE MACHINES!! I made this video the same way I made the others, and some are better than otheres. And the last one (part 4) are widescreen. Dont ask me how it happened. I feel like these machines talk about us secretly when we're away.....
@TheLastAnarchist69 And I don't believe you hate machines... do you have a computer? A cellphone? Means of transpotation? Do you buy your food somewhere? Or go to a hospital? And what about the fact that you are a machine yourself? A biological one. It is pointless to hate machines. But the misuse of machines is something that you can and should be mad about.
@TheLastAnarchist69 Yeah, you hate machines so much, that you avoided using a ·computer· to upload a video from a ·video camera· to the ·internet· while wearing clothes manufactured by ·automatic weavers· and probably living in an ·computer· aided designed house.
Delegating decision making to machines might sound dangerous somehow to people who never thought about it. But be sure, it's already happening around you.
Your lowly cell phone very often makes a decision which base station to be logged into. Also, those IP packets containing this video stream are transported using machines called routers. These try to figure out the best way around the net. No human could do this in reasonable time or would want to be bothered with such a task.
@MultiSamsoon I can't see how a system with no money, no banks, no politicians, no laws, no prisons, and especially no police force or armies could control people. But if you say so, let's hear it, what's your theory?
This man will lead us to a new era of human consciousness. Sadly, he will be assassinated by the government. Trust me, read your history books. And they'll get away with it to. They always have.
@OttyOttyOtty Maybe. There's definitely that possibility, but it doesn't matter anymore. It's bigger than Peter Joseph. It's just way too big than just one single individual now. They're not going to stop it even if they try because it's built right into the production/transportation/communications system. If they do try to stop it, the rest of the world is just going to bypass them. In a few decades they (the present "elites") will be as relevant as medieval monarchs.
For someone who disagrees with PJ, You asked him some GREAT questions to which I thought he responded to quite eloquently! Good interview! (I got the feeling that he wanted to keep talking too! :)
@tubingwithmygnomies I apologize. My computer and corel movie studio really do have a mind of their own. For example, my last video (Part 4) was widescreen...and cuts out half of the shot. But I did the same process with this video, and it didnt do that. My girlfriend also said she couldnt hear certain parts on her computer either. So I do apologize....its probably the single reason I disagree with Peter. Fucking computers cant be trusted.
@TheLastAnarchist69 Well that is just the problem he addressed. Our current state of computer programs are only inefficient because they are made with flaws. This is done so you will buy the updated version. In a society where everything is made to be efficient these kinds of problems will be addressed. Nothing today is made to last or be efficient.
@TheLastAnarchist69 Computers are just an extension of human capabilities. I don't believe youtube staff has any problems adding videos here... It's just a matter of learning to use them properly and having the best possible technology available.
@TheLastAnarchist69 you point out how unreliable the machines really are. he'd probably say that the technology will get better, but do we really want to teach people that they can't make decisions without the approval of a computer? of course malfunctions and information glitches are bound to happen. but it's worse than that, the whole idea means that humans no longer are allowed to exercise free will. he acts real nice and sophisticated, but he is a mad man and his ideas mean enslavement
MultiSamsoon - lmao. You do realize how ridiculous you sound as compared to rational people, right? Oh wait, never mind, the key word there was rational people. Moving forward...
@MultiSamsoon I find that possible. I find that Zeitgeist movement has a lot of good points/arguments, but they are completely unable to see themselves from a broader angle. What they are talking about is mostly true up to a point. I'm sure everyone involved in the movement knows that, but people who are deeply frustrated quickly fall in love with any solution that seems plausible and defend it beyond reason.

@HumanityMovement Excellent use of the Straw Man fallacy. Take statements out of context, and provide negative cultural implications to them. Bravo.
VoxLumina 4 months ago
@VoxLumina What fallacy? I've just studied the origins of the theosophic society, people's work that gets used in Peters work, and followed his theory to it's logical end, which is a denial of human worth. His theory is the fallacy. Like I said, he acts like he cares about humanity, but if you study the theories, it is not so. He puts forth a utopian vision that is not realistic, and will lead to total enslavement, just like all collectivist systems.
HumanityMovement 4 months ago
@HumanityMovement The system is simple, you just like over complicate things. If you think a resource based economy is so bad (utilizing science and technology to calculate and distribute our everyday needs) then what do you propose?

Zeitgeist Movement is nothing but hijack of grass root created unrest. The proposed Resource based economy is nothing but another form of controlled system, much like financial control system. Deception to bring One World Government!
With global network of resource allocation systems there will be no positions of power is an obvious lie anyone with rational thinking can figure out.
We will get what we deserve. Let us do our part so that we deserve the best!
MultiSamsoon 4 months ago
@MultiSamsoon You should look at the movies, then you would know there would be no government. Seriously, all complaints i see about zeitgeist come from people who haven't even watched the movies...
Anonymous247n 4 months ago 2
@Anonymous247n That movies is lies laced with truth. No government?? Give me a break. It clearly is a deception by the people who will keep lying to their grave.
MultiSamsoon 4 months ago
@MultiSamsoon It could be. But the system itself is the very best we could hope for. Just watch the movies and you'll know. Or go to the homepage of venus project and read the FAQ, your question is one of the very frequently asked ones i'm sure.
Anonymous247n 4 months ago
@MultiSamsoon What incentive would there be to control someone in an RBE? Food available at your finger-tips, free education for life, free transportation, free energy, access to state of the art studios, sound halls, athletic facilities, you name it. The beauty of it all is that no one is forced to participate, or calling an end to the -isms entirely. But lets face it, the majority of the world lives in poverty and would trash their outdated systems for an RBE. Would u agree?
WakeUpWorldTV 4 months ago
@WakeUpWorldTV
1) Incentive of controlling others in an RBE is nothing different than controlling others in any type of system. The high some people get of the Power they seem to have!
MultiSamsoon 4 months ago
@WakeUpWorldTV
MultiSamsoon 4 months ago
@WakeUpWorldTV
MultiSamsoon 4 months ago

Clarke

TheLastAnarchist69 4 months ago
@TheLastAnarchist69 I have watched all the TZM films. For one thing I would agree on you about him being (sometimes) unrealistic. Not to mislead, I was all into TZM until this thing seem get into his head too much. Peter is lucky to find TVP, because if you notice real carefully all the 'solution' that ever been presented in TZM originated from TVP. Without TVP, TZM is just bunch of barking dogs with no real mission or purpose. That's my opinion anyway. But now they split, it makes things weird.
shinagito 4 months ago
@shinagito You sound as if TVP are the creators of the RBE.
TZM would have been like the Occupy movement with a much better grasp on the flaws of the current system.
AfroBotSays 4 months ago
@AfroBotSays Much unfortunate, but I'm afraid that's the closest thing even when I didn't agree with it. Don't get me wrong, I still think TZM is a brave attempt. But would you able to imagine what TZM would be if there's no such idea as RBE? From what I understand, TZM came out strong but landed weak, because there were not much technical ideas or even the sort of 'image' of the future-would-be. It was ambitious, but lacked substance. The idea of RBE makes everything fall into place.

@TheLastAnarchist69 The reason modern cities are not modeled after The Venus Project's ideals is because there is no PROFIT in it (IMHO) :)

Jameswinslife 4 months ago
@TheLastAnarchist69 as for why we havnt seen anything like it before - this is the same question people ask when all new frames of thought come into being. This is the first time people are really being faced with the depletion of critical element to our survival (fossil fuel) With an environment new ideas are created to cater for changes, the same way democracy came about. people were saying "why would anyone but the king decide what happens in the futur?e a king was put there by god....
Jameswinslife 4 months ago
@TheLastAnarchist69 The cities of the Venus Project aren't seen yet because most people are not psychologically ready for such cities. First they have to understand how the whole system works, especially the value system. We, the people, need to learn how to share and how to contribute for the benefit of all. As opposed to the current situation of fighting against others in order to gain.
tebatilava 4 months ago
Peter says that by crassroot movement we can stop this system from working, and in this short video he didn't go into specifics on how the transformation will work, he jumped to the conclusion. That doesn't mean you can't go find information yourself.

TheLastAnarchist69 4 months ago
@TheLastAnarchist69 And I don't believe you hate machines... do you have a computer? A cellphone? Means of transpotation? Do you buy your food somewhere? Or go to a hospital? And what about the fact that you are a machine yourself? A biological one. It is pointless to hate machines. But the misuse of machines is something that you can and should be mad about.

OttyOttyOtty 4 months ago
@OttyOttyOtty Maybe. There's definitely that possibility, but it doesn't matter anymore. It's bigger than Peter Joseph. It's just way too big than just one single individual now. They're not going to stop it even if they try because it's built right into the production/transportation/communications system. If they do try to stop it, the rest of the world is just going to bypass them. In a few decades they (the present "elites") will be as relevant as medieval monarchs.

@tubingwithmygnomies I apologize. My computer and corel movie studio really do have a mind of their own. For example, my last video (Part 4) was widescreen...and cuts out half of the shot. tebatilava 4 months ago
