You can, but the most common thing is that bacteria(SP?) can build up causing horrible ear infections.

A good buddy of mine produces too much ear wax (It's nasty) and I went with him to the doctor(Just for gits and shiggles) one time. He had compacted wax, and the doc had to pull it out, it can cause MAJOR blocking of the ear canal which can lead to the breaking of the ear drum.

If you feel that they are blocked, drop some warm peroxide in at night so the wax can break up and drain.

make sure the peroxide is diluted! dont just pour straight peroxide in! and its best if you get the special solutions from the pharmacy..
