When the Vikings used this as their intro they had a techno instrumental they used for the visiting starting lineups that was really cool. I've been searching for that music for years.

The Vikings actually have one - the 1969 NFL Championship. This was the last year before the NFL-AFL merger, and the last year before Super Bowl 1.

We beat the Cleveland Browns to earn the right to play Kansas City for the Super Bowl Title. I guess you need history lessons......... And not beating the Chiefs in Super Bowl lV makes the season a FAILURE!

Sadly I grew up and live in Elko, Nevada...very few chances to ever catch a game, but the next time they're in Seattle I'm there...and Brett better come back for at least one more, the last game against the Saints just proved that the Vikings are once again in the NFL elite. I would, but well, I hate it. :) I think that changing the video to the Immigrant Song was a mistake. I liked it at first, but it is a hard song for the crowd to get into. We need to go back to something with a strong beat that the crowd can stomp and clap to. Openings now are weak compared to before.

The crowd simply can't get into it. It has too many up and off beats, so the crowd can't clap to it. The lack of bass sounds crappy on the dome sound system.

Bring back the old. It was a much better fit for a sports opener.

Yes and no. It is the real music, but for some reason the conversion process on YouTube keeps speeding it up. This is also from 2005 and prior. Now the opening movie is a series of game day shots, and the music is "Immigrant Song"

I know that it freezes up - for some reason when I uploaded the original flash to YouTube, their conversion process messed up the sound. The sound is playing at about 2X the correct speed.
