  • I think we need a new machine here.

  • I miss metal shop, it was my favorite. Stupid budget cuts. I wonder what field of work I can go into that does that kind of stuff. Btw EV vids do suck. Forget this.

  • to be fair, this is probably a learning shop for high school kids and as such their equipment isn't necessarily grade-A top-notch modern machinery. it works, but it's probably not what you'd want to use if you were making a living doing it. good enough to show high school kids the basics, though.

i can't believe i just defended an EV vid. i feel so dirty....

  • ANOTHER retarded expert village video!

  • I hate piecemeal video. I hate piecemeal video. I hate piecemeal video.I hate piecemeal video.

  • you are a genious(@%#*&)!

  • "That old "iron worker" machine will bottom out and give you a 95 degree bend"

lawl, funnily enough it does look about 95 degrees

  • Whoops.. I meant an 85 degree bend not 95. The bottom die is most likely a 85 degree die so you can go past 90 a little to allow for spring back of the material. I said a little...not stand on the pedal until the machine bottoms out. Sorry I am spoiled..I use a 12 foot 250 Ton CNC press brake where I work.

  • One suggestion is to ignore this F*#ked up video. 90 degree bend my ass!!. That old "iron worker" machine will bottom out and give you a 95 degree bend or more no matter what thickness of metal you stuff in it. Where is the follow up video showing a big hammer making it 90 degrees?

  • lol, if that was 90° my geometry teacher is a lier! that thing was at least 95° i mean it leaned in more than 90°!

  • can anybody help me

how can i shape or cut metal without useing a bench grinder because im a 12 year old kid

  • to "sunnysweet666": For cutting I would suggest using electric metal shears or one of those archimedes cutters(it's like a guillotine with a huge lever u pull to cut bars or thicker flat strips of metal). shaping generally isn't that dangerous, you can find rollers, benders, etc that are manually operated(no electricity so it's a lot safer) Good luck ;)

  • thank you so much for this video it is so educational :))).take care meeen.

  • thx useful vid.
