Oh and to the unreconstructedreb whose people wore gray. Ever hear of Fort Pillow? Andersonville? Lawrence Kansas? Sheesh you history revisionists kill me and you liberal white apologists are even worse. War sucks! It is committed by human beings and terrible wrongs were committed by both sides.
I know North America was a non violent paradise before the Europeans, but the Sioux weren't exactly pacifists. They drove the Crow out of their ancestoral lands (the Black Hills) and the Kiowa as well. They were agressive expansionists. Kind of sounds like the wasichus doesn't it? Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't the Native Americans introduce tobacco to the Europeans?
This is an awesome video. Well done. However as I read the blogs, and blogs from other videos, I realize just how much our distorted history books from the past 200 years are sadly keeping most of the world ignorant of all of the details surrounding the making of America, the details of slavery (who was involved, etc.) and full details of Native Americans and the plight the Federal gov't still keeps them. I pray more and more people truly study. I too love this artist!

The near genocide of the American Indians had nothing to do with the differences in the cultures. It was always about the land. Both red, and the white races wanted it. The white race took it all in the name of manifest destiny. Which gives the power to those who have to rule over those who have not. Sadly this part of American History is hardly ever taught in our schools today.
my people wore coats of grey, i think its funny history remembers lincoln & grant as heroes when in fact they were the main cause of the murders of several million of my and your people. i think it funny that we killed 300,000 soldiers & as many as 2 million southerners to free the blacks and almost with the same breath ordered the extermination of this lands native population. know that the free men of mississippi stand with the nations!
@1unreconstructedreb My people wore coats of grey too, but not a single one was fighting to keep slaves. 90% of Southerners did not have anything to do with slavery. I agree that Lincoln and Grant were disgusting and should not be hailed as heroes at all. If the South had won, I sincerely doubt the Native Americans would have be exterminated, as so many fought for the South in the War. And if we'd gotten Custer and several others, many attacks on women/children would not have happened.
@1unreconstructedreb my fellow confederate, do you forget the words of the tyrant leader of the union? he fought to preserve the union, and if he could accomplish that with or without freeing a single black slave, he would do so...they are nothing but slavemasters that lie and twist the truth of the past and present..the southerners that fought the union, fought for their freedom from it, not to enslave the black man..children are fed their lies in their schools, and adults get it from the media
0ver 200 murders rode into the valley thinking to meet old people women and children like every other peaceful tribe they slaughtered but not this time no this time they met with over 3000 pissed off native braves and not one rode out of that valley
@tomde3 Indeed. It is a stark reminder of Sand Creek (women and old men and children) and the ferocity of a counter attack of force and skill at this site; a thing all peoples should think about, no matter race nor country.
@tomde3 I have clicked on the thumbs up + they do not appear to registrar. Just KNOW I DID SO. 5*'s ++ to infinity too. Powerful song creation + delivered in VOICE of a Man with conviction + LOVE for his people. I Like others feel ashamed at what we have allowed as a people; wearing blinders to truth. Forgive Us please for our inaction. I take full responsibility for any part I had in this horrendous time in our history. I LOVE you all + can't wait until we bring PEACE between all for Humanity.
THERE IS NO PICTURE OF HIM HE BELIVED THE CAMREA WOULD TRAPP HIS SPRIT IN THE WHITE MANS BOX SO THATS WHY HE NEVER TOOK A PICTURE AND FOUGHT FOR OUR PROUND PEOPLE
This is a truely great tribute one of North Amerca's greatest heroes. All present day Lakotas should be justly proud to be known as a Native American or Redman, both refer to a great nation. Frank Cook
@Peeres70 To give you a little consolation: Guess who singed one of the very few treaties with Indians, that was never broken? The German Baron von Meusebach and the Comanche. Meusebach's group brokered the 1847 Meusebach-Comanche Treaty that has been honored for over a century and a half. German-Americans and Comanches still meet at their common annual powwow.
It is said that no picture was ever taken from Crazy Horse. But the one shown here is the only of many alleged Crazy Horse photos showing a NA with leighter hair and even a scare on his face under his right eye (or just a stain? You can see better if you google this photo) like could be the one shot by No Water. Can anyone tell me more about this picture?
it was a crime to com ealong, "buy" land from the indians and kill them afterwards. and those, who call themselves "american" are proud of all these things. they are proud of their greatgreatgrandparents who sent their ill people to an indian tribe, so they could as much indians as possible with only one desease.
it's a shame that there are people who are proud of that. the indians wouldn't never have gone the warpath, if the white men told the truth.
That is one crap song. And Custer knew exactly what he was going to find at the Little Bighorn. But he thought he could handle it based on past experience. He was wrong. Indians are no different to anybody else. This mystic crap is annoying. Indian tribes killed and captured one another way before the white man came along. Then they acted as scouts for him when they understood the situation had changed. But somehow the Indian is more noble than anybody else? Please.
3) Give the Black Hills back to the Lakota. Excuse for Boarding schools, sterilizations, adoptions of Indian kids to white families ..... and so further and so on. THEN let’s talk again about – how did you put it? – mystic crap.
And Custer was defeaded, because arrogant as he was he did not expect the Lakota leaders Gull, Sitting Bull and Crazy Horse to annul his strategies.
2) Of course they are humans as any one. But as long as what happened during the Indian wars is not named and seen as what it was the world cannot think noble anough of them!
Winners write history you guys grow up learning any argument possible why it wasn’t ALL that bad, or was to be justified.
@jamessquire1 Oh, come on! You cannot compare tribal raids to organized genocide!!! And there are not "the Indians" or "they". You are talking about 500 different nations.
I guess nations around the world besides the US would not think half as noble of the First CanAmericans if the ethnocide was no longer played down.
Awesome Video! Awesome song! I love it! I would love to research my heritage and hopefully find that I am from an Indian ancestry.I would hate to think I am from descendent's that oppress others for they're own personal gain and greed.America was the true land of milk and honey before white man landed on shore.
Don't romanticize history. It was very hard to live through. And if it got into the history books, or into the stories told by ancestors, a lot did not live through it. If you have self-respect, you will respect those who went before. Don't judge. What you accuse someone else of doing, you have done yourself in some way or another. Creator bless us all, brothers and sisters all.
DIVINA CANCION CON LA EJEMPLAR LID DE DOS HOMBRES QUIENES LUCHARON POR SU CONVICCION DEL TRIUNFO. SON NOTAS DE TRISTEZA PERO CONLLEVAN ALEGRIA Y ORGULLO GRACIAS POR ESTAS PAGINAS
@Rainbowshow this isnt the place to post your whines or personal hates... this is to show respect of those who are now gone, that we all should show great respect to... CrazyHorse is my hero... he brought all the nations together that he could... and had that taken place just 10 years before, this country might be a little different today...
This may sound deep, but I bet you dream of paradise? Crazy Horse lived in America when it was a real paradise. To bad war, alcohol, Tobacco and guns took it all away from us.
Crazy Horse was Oglala Sioux war leader and one of many great Lakoya war leaders amongst them Chief Gall. All Nations are still suffering Genocide today as its our punishment for winning the Battle of Greasy Grass. We put shame on the American Government and Army. So now we suffer!
@DollaBillz... so you are all thats left of 'the great white hope' are you ? never mind... watch what happens now ! perhaps you can be saved from your scientific journals yet !
DollaBillz..You on the wrong page .. shouldn't you be somewhere else celebrating the" great victories " at Wounded Knee or My Lai? Maybe you should just take a couple of valiums and have a good lie down ... as blissmeow said ..the name says it all.
My friends, I experienced a spiritual awakening of profound proportions. At the beginning I met a Native American Woman in Austin Texas. We knew each other for less than 48 hours. As I was leaving she insisted that I take her to her home. She ran inside and came out a said William I want you to have this and carry it with you, It took me a long time to earn this but I want to give it to you. She gave me her Eagle Feather. See where that leads me. mercycal.com I need help.
@DollaBiIIz , you really need to go read a book or two. Indians never ate each other and who celebrates death more than those that eradicated the original peoples of North America.
@DollaBiIIz wow... you are an idiot. i bet you think christopher columbus was a fine upstanding man too. but then again i guess the name dollabillz says it all. $ rules your world not reality
@blissmeow You are barely even literate so I understand why you don't know anything about history. But at least shut the fuck up and listen to people who are able to read books and scientific journal articles.
ive heard storyes that custer made it out alive and lived. but oh well thats what he gets. just like shivington at sand creek. thats what you get when you come to someone elses land that is different cultered than you take there land, and try to sell it back or kill them if they dont leave.
if you try and depict the red man as a savage who cooked and ate people you a fool for the red man ate animal hearts because we thought that by eating animal hearts we gained the animals strength spirit and wisdom so dont come saying the my ancestors ate human hearts cause you obviously dont know shit all about the red man so go fuck yourself goshe
@tomde3 not quite right but a nice sentiment anyways, Custer lost not due to superior numbers but due to inept arrogant tactics on his part, give the natives their due, they beat him due to tactics NOT numbers. It was unless I'm mistaken the second last battle when a native force beat a "superior" army, the last one being Isandlwana.
@NeilG42 there was nothing superior about custers army the inclination that they where superior is offensive the braves he was meeting in battle where trained since childhood in warfare and guerrilla tactics there main function was as hunters how ever they where fierce disciplined soldiers that could match any army man for man the white American army simply had more numbers the whites where seriously out classed and custer did think he was riding into an unsuspecting defenseless village
@tomde3 AMEN BROTHER...Crazy Hose and Company just swarmed on his nass...But I believe that Crazy Horse did the honors...Justice served that arrogant yellow haIR BURNS IN HELL
@tomde3 your indian bullshit is the lies. Indians used to skin people alive and rip their hearts out while they were still beating. They also cooked and ate people.
thechicagogodfather if you think custer was a man he was a little mouse running away bragging he could take on two indian nations with 127 men and he got what he deserved and i myself am proud to be called a native american
Custer represented the worst of the White People and their way. I am of mixed blood and still smell the shame of this murderous son of a bitch along with his cohorts...
one badass video bud, the song pumps me up and vocuses me like my other favorite music does. to do it justice i crank it up on a high output system, i cant wait to try it on peyote.
custer was warned of what would happen to him and every man with him if he ever harmed another innocent indian. he failed to heed that warning and the indian cheifs vision proved true to the very last man. i call that justice, the type of justice this world is about to see a lot more of.
@dohnnycash yo kevin cusner stole the idea from crazy horse when he deared the cavalry to shoot him from his horse in the movie dancing with wolves what low down chip shot shame. of all the bullshit add this one '
@DevilfromOklahoma87 lol man custer was stupid he didnt wait for reinforcements and cut the 7 calvalry into halfs which was a stupid move if he waited he could of won bighorn but still yeah thats what happened and buffalo bill scalped an indian so did wild bill
watch this video --- > "Tribute to the Real People of Mother Earth: Native American-N-Himalayas Kirat "
I think all the native of the world must realize their original identity and revive their ancient culture and religion. Today Mother Nature is angry and Mother Earth is dying all attributed to western civilization, globalization and greedy corporation.
@Akshabad watch this video too.---> "sakela~the greatest festival of Kirat people"
Kirat are the natives of the Himalayas of Mongoloid race just like American native. Just like American native Kirat worship mother nature, land and ancestors. Just like American native, Kiratdesh vis a vis Nepal was invaded by Aryan(sub-race of Caucasoid).

2) Of course they are humans as any one. But as long as what happened during the Indian wars is not named and seen as what it was the world cannot think noble anough of them!
Winners write history you guys grow up learning any argument possible why it wasn’t ALL that bad, or was to be justified.
Mo66F 10 months ago 9
@jamessquire1
Mo66F 10 months ago 8

Custer lost, but NOBODY can claim he went out like a little bi&%ch! Crazy Horse had to work for that victory.
If Custer had more men with him, it could have went the other way.

I'm glad savages are all dead now. They deserved it. Look at the celebrate murder. They used to eat each other.

@DollaBiIIz , you really need to go read a book or two. Indians never ate each other and who celebrates death more than those that eradicated the original peoples of North America.

@tomde3 AGREE!!!!!!
RiverBirch1967 1 year ago
@tomde3 not quite right but a nice sentiment anyways, Custer lost not due to superior numbers but due to inept arrogant tactics on his part, give the natives their due, they beat him due to tactics NOT numbers. It was unless I'm mistaken the second last battle when a native force beat a "superior" army, the last one being Isandlwana.
NeilG42 1 year ago
@NeilG42 there was nothing superior about custers army the inclination that they where superior is offensive the braves he was meeting in battle where trained since childhood in warfare and guerrilla tactics there main function was as hunters how ever they where fierce disciplined soldiers that could match any army man for man the white American army simply had more numbers the whites where seriously out classed and custer did think he was riding into an unsuspecting defenseless village

@DevilfromOklahoma87 greetings from Kirati, native of the Himalayas.
watch this video --- > "Tribute to the Real People of Mother Earth: Native American-N-Himalayas Kirat "
I think all the native of the world must realize their original identity and revive their ancient culture and religion. Today Mother Nature is angry and Mother Earth is dying all attributed to western civilization, globalization and greedy corporation.
