I think you misinterpreted my post...someone said that, just because you go to Harvard, does not mean you are smart and I mentioned Bush since he went there. I know he did undergrad at Yale. That is an example of how one who goes to Harvard (or any Ivy League school) is not always intelligent.

Anyone graduating cum laude is the same...does not make them smart. Just book smart. Condi Rice got, I believe, magna cum laude. But she has not shown smarts in The Bush Administration.

From what I heard on the news, the reason Obama doesn't look happy about the joke and tugs on Biden's sleeve to let him know that it isn't appropriate is because he didn't want people to start questioning whether he is officially the President or not, due to the flubbed swearing in. He wanted there to be absolutely no doubt about it so that is why he was sworn in again that day.

Oh Joe, not the best start. It's probably not a good idea to take a cheap shot at the chief justice. Obama would have been seething at this whole episode. Hope Joe can overcome his reputation of being a loose canon.

LOL... it is funny because you can interpret in 2 different ways.

The cheap way: He is joking at Robert screw up during the inauguration.

The other way: Robert is a lawyer who has to remember thousand of rules, and Biden doesn't even know the oath of office, hence the comment.

You can see in Biden voice and face, he is serious. He is not joking at Robert expense, but it is so much easier to think he is. Obama is just there to calm everyone and remind them this is important.
