my friday the 13th 3 is uncut Well, i'm assuming it's the uncut version because it contains added gore that was not in my VHS version. It shows an extended death of the girl in the hammock, and you see the handstand guy get split in half. Both these scenes were much shorter on my VHS but are full and uncut on my DVD. It's the newest region 2 release, the special edition with the pitchfork and blood on the front.

Parts 1 and 2 are both a little "dated". While there are some slow spots in the movie, I still feel that this is a good flick but the remake is more fun to watch because of the pace of the movie. Much faster and keeps you into the movie. I am very interested to see the new Friday the 13th part 2 (2010) Hopefully they will get the cast back for the 2nd installment.

i don't believe that part 2 is more original at all and the first one had no dead spots. part 2 was like a remake of the first one. i don't hate it but i don't love it
which of the movies do you have on dvd?

@BarleydawgReviews I think my views have changed since then. Now, I actually might think the second one is better. I'll have to have another marathon and find out. the first one did have a couple dead spots

out of curiosity and I don't wanna sound negative but isn't the first one only with his mom? and u said that its a ripoff of Halloween? wouldn't 2 or 3 be more of a ripoff?

I tried to watch one and two. Absolutley horrid, in my opinion. I still want to see the remake, though.
