  • the anoucer is jerry bishop who now does judge judy

  • I think that theme sounds different at the end of the show.

  • Ah...Jerri Fiala. Wonder whatever happened to her?

  • The theme song of this show sound like Tattletales.

  • I don't think Score Productions did the theme to "Cross-wits".

  • Ah, sorry you didnt get the $1000 :(

I read your interview with Mike Tiller on his website. Very nice! You sure did kick ass in the bonus round.

  • I believe GSN should pick this version up in the near future and possibly a GSN version of this game. I doubt it since "Merv Griffin's Crosswords" is still around.

  • No I could produce and host this.

  • I wonder if any more 70s Crosswits will show up?

  • Since the people at Ralph Edwards Productions are too lazy to look for the tapes, theres nto much to watch.

  • Great job on the show Mark! Did you have fun on your trip to Hawaii?

(BTW If I may be so bold to say I thought you looked hot!)

  • thank you.. so, how about returning the favor ?? got a photo online i can see ?

  • This theme heard here is actually an uodated version of the 2nd Cross-wits theme song, which sounded more tropical-like.

  • do you have any other cross-wits?

  • In speaking of Chicago, what channel was this game shown?

  • Possibly WFLD? That's just a educated guess but I would come to that conclusion because I believe it was syndicated and was shown on the Metromedia affiliate (later FOX) at the time.

But, I really don't know for sure.

  • FYI, WFLD which I call ch. 32 was owned by Field Communications back in the 70s.

  • Wow, Mark did a fantastic job, ya know? I was on the edge of my seat when he was trying to get the idea on the last word, and 9 seconds! Interesting!

  • i am mark... lol... and, thanx...

  • he had no family in the audience.. they all lived in chicago..

  • You are so right, Up4AnythingScorp, Mark did kicked ass, he won the "Cross-Fire" round, but I think the win would've been cooler if his friends and/or family came out of the audience to hug, scream, celebrate, you know what I mean.
