I don't like twilight. I just don't like the story. And I will always love Harry Potter. But I could never hate this woman. She seems nice and even though I don't think she's that good at writing she seems to have a genuine feel for it that I recognize. I write myself and I recognize that feeling that they are not characters. They're people.

Because I suscribed to the Borders channel and it's one of the videos that came up in my subscription box. I wanted to give my opinion on the book. Much like everyone else does on youtube.

i think i can speak on behalf of everyone and say the books are beyond brilliant..

i actually cannot understand how anyone cant adore them..

and i can understand why they are such a success..

The quickest way to get the video out of my subscription box is done by clicking on the video and then hiting the little youtube button at the top. Which is what I did. Since I was already on the video I gave my opinion. I don't consider books like this as brilliant. Authors such as Jane Austen, Emily Bronte, Charlotte Bronte, to name a few, are beyond brilliant.

@Palirose09 sorry chick, the same can be said for you. This story has been told and retold a thousand times over so to say that it is different is not true. I'm pretty sure I didn't bash the author, but maybe I'm wrong (which I know I'm not). Even though she is doing well as an author doesn't mean that her books can be considered quality literature. If you want to read books that are "different and...off your steriotypical mainstream vampire stories" you should check out Sherrilyn Kenyon's books

@Palirose09, if you would kindly re-read the comment I posted above you would already know that answer. However, it is quite evident that you have not or have forgotten what I posted. Yes, I do think it is written at a teenage, of younger, reading level with very little thought process put into it after the first book. I did enjoy the first book, it's after the second that I stopped reading the books. I think that the books get too much publicity for not being well written, or scripted.
