Please send your video as response to my video "Wing clipping: Why birds disagree with scissors"! Your video is wonderful! I like it so much! Thank you for understanding! YOU have a new friend! Green feathered greeting from Germany, Monika and her four full-flighted Linnie boys
This is one of my favorite videos EVER. If anyone asks me that very controversial question "To clip or not to clip?," I will tell them to watch this. Brilliant! Thank you for posting
I LOVE this video! Our CAG is flighted, and we quite enjoy it. The play areas you have set up are amazing. I would love to hear how those started and evolved.
After having a spectacled amazon kill itself by flying into a window I'll never allow this with my eclectus. I read every week of someone who has lost a bird desparate to find their beloved pets. To each their own...I think this is asking for heartache.
@Shanlung9 hahahaa! yes, much easier for us (and you too, is is not?)
although it's not much different than having a few kitty condos (rug poles with platforms) for cats in your house. people do that a lot to protect the furniture from claws ;)
this also makes it easier because, as you also have stated, the birds then stay on their gyms and usually don't go to other places where we don't want them to go. everyone is happier.

I have 8 flighted birds in the house. None of my birds is dumb enough to bang into walls, mirrors and windows.

What a wonderful video. You built your entire home around an aviary. But I guess that will be much easier than living in an aviary with your birdies
