@FlahMorf I was looking at buying one. did you buy one and found the quality suck or know of anyone that did? would appreciate your insight, don't want to get stuck with a mistake. thanx
Thats why they are called thieves --- they steal cars and raise all our insurance premiums----car thieves should be executed as soon as convicted . I figure by dropping an engine block on their heads would be fitting.
Buick has done an excellent job on this automobile. I must say, that I wouldn't mine having one myself. It has that modern day sporty look that gets alot of attention.
ooks good and more modern and less conservative for a buick. the side and back profiles reminds me of a lexus GS and LS. Nice car but the hyundai genesis 4.6 seems like a greater value in the same class as this.
Hmm, yet Lexus reminds me of the BMW they usually knock off, which is ironic, since BMW took Buick for their model way back when they were struggling in the early 60s -- The Sport Luxury model.
If we are bOth right, the design copy makes a full circle, doesn't it.
Bottom line, GM is way overdue for making premium small cars and charging a premium for them.
People seem willing to pay for what used to be regarded as an uncomfortable compromise and crow about it. Finally GM gives in.
I'm 34 and I'm very interested in this car. I never thought I'd say that about Buick since the Grand National was discontinued in 1987 (I really wanted one of those as a teenager).
Buick has built competent if unexciting cars since then, and now that GM will consist of four brands, I hope this and the Enclave SUV (which I'd also consider if I needed something that large) represent a new direction for the division.
Is it me or did all the driving footage look like they drove at about 15 MPH and then sped it up 2 or 3 times to make the car look sporty and possessing tight handling capability? I hope they dont call it a sedan with its little stubby super short trunklid, it looks more like a fastback style than anything else.
To everyone saying that GM copied Toyota, remember back when the Ford Taurus came out in 1986? EVERYONE copied the Taurus, including the precious Japanese.
Typical new age G.M. They copy cat the designs from the Infiniti G37 and 2007 Toyota Camry..G.M.,Where's your vision and foresight??...No wonder you're on your knees begging Obama for money..You people really make me feel like Einstein cause I've always had the commonsense to stick with Infiniti.
infiniti came out with junk in their lifetime The J30 the old Q45s those cars were so unreliable at least if you got a bad G.M. car it didn't cost you a arm and leg to get it fixed
I like to give people a chance to prove their expressed opinions..I want you to list the proven "faults" of the Infinity J30 and Q45 that makes them "unreliable" as you claim. Just to let you know, I'm a certified ASE Level 2 Mechanic since 1984, so I'll be on top of your points.
Being a fan of Buicks, it seems like everyone wants to talk shit about the past Buicks, but really, they built a lot of solid, reliable cars that many people enjoy. Only thing is the past decade or so, minus a few trims and models, has largely been boring and not competitive, so I'm glad maybe people will see this and rethink a great brand.
Hell Yeah. As a young person, I love the Buick Logo. Just the cars never looked as cool as the Logo. But now, I would like to buy one. Congratulations GM. You are starting to get it!
A dramtic/Next-Gen Malibu chassis with GM/China designed exterior which will be a Dramitc Hit for the Boring Buick line following in the footsteos of the Buick Enclave !!!

I would definitely buy this over the 2010 Ford Taurus, inspite of GM's current state of affairs (Bankruptcy, etc.)

This is a U.S. version of the European Opel/Vauxhall Insignia.

Sumwat. The opel insignia is a little smaller, that one is simular to the chinese Buick Regal. This is a little bit larger

You're right, this is the same Insignia (Epsilon II platform). The exterior makes it look a little bit bulkier, but is the same, trust me
