  • its not smart to watch these videos when im hungry ;3

  • most of the places you actually do it yourself rather than having a waiter do it.

  • お好み焼きが大好きです!

  • this is AWESOME

  • So so so so delicious!

  • hes probably new, don't be hating, as long as it tastes good.

  • Lmao , Total FAIL !

  • Whats it made out of? never had this before o.o

  • @CwazyIndian wheat flour, baking soda, cabbage, green or regular onions, sometimes pork, shrimp, anything you want really, often topped with bacon or a fried egg, Japanese mayonnaise and okonomiyaki sauce, which is like a Japanese version of 'brown sauce' - soy sauce, rice wine, brown sugar etc. There's lots of variations but it's really easy to make!

  • the day when I can eat an Okonomiyaki I'll be the happiest person in the world.

  • I would kill for this right now!!!!

  • fail!

  • I honestly didn't really like it. And HOLY SHIT!!! I think you went to the same place that I went to, because I was sitting in that same exact table!!! Was the restuarant near a corner?

  • Yum , i want go back to japan to eat more Okonomiyaki ^^ !!!!

  • ahhhh, i want some sooo bad!

  • is that shrimp on top??

  • @tokersoldies

the little pink things are shavings from fermented, smoked, sun dried fish from which flakes are shaved and then added as a topping or used to make dashi(fish broth)

    -katsuboshi-

  • omg, it looks totally overdone (even burned) when he flips it! xD

  • When I ate at a place in Hirakata, the guy never let the stuff spill out. This guy needs practice.

  • @soapfiction i can imagine it would be hard to keep all that overflowing food in that small bowl, though O:

  • @soapfiction

    It's okay! :)

I'm sure it still tastes the same!

  • @soapfiction

    This is Osaka style ...

  • @soapfiction

osaka style that is there then one makes

  • @soapfiction

Actually, letting the 'stuff' spill out helps the dish, believe it or not. It makes it crispier. At least if you like Osaka style okonomikaki. My wife is a German girl raised in Japan and she gives me shit when I don't let the cabbage sizzle a bit before I set the main portion of the bowl out on the grill.

  • agreed. that looks horrid.
