Ben, were you serious about winning? Had you EVER seen the VP nominee? I mean had you EVER heard any of Palin's speeches and monumental blunders? When I heard Palin's first speech about hockey moms and pit bulls and being a "real" American, and when I saw Grandpa McCain pale and slouching in the background, I said to myself , "American is about to have her first Black President". To this day I'll never understand why John McCain did not Vet, Palin, an unknown, and obviously not ready for anything, let alone the vice presidency. What the hell was he thinking. I think probably two reasons: 1. She's a woman 2. She's attractive. But in the past, even candidates with these attributes were fairly intelligent and knew what the hell they were talking about. republican and democrat reputations aside, the republicans lost because people looked at bush and didn't like him so there was already one strike against them. then sarah palin. SHE was the main reason why republicans lost. Obama won because people liked him.plus he's not a republican. people pay attention to those kinds of things. mccain and obama are both pretty cool guys but if he had picked someone else for VP, it probably then he probably could've evened the playing field. but oh well.

I think it's mean of the mainstream media to question what Sarah says. After all, she's just a girl. Whatever happened to male chivalry?
