That won't make any fps difference, big part of the performance depends on the video card. so even if you would upgrade to 4gb ram memory you wouldn't advance that much if you haven't got a decent video card.

and besides that, a ddr2 RAM stick doesn't fit in a ddr1 slot.

@KKOPPI Im thinking if you upgrade the ram it will make less LAG in the game so if you get like 2 or 4 GB ram it will cut down at least 3x of the lag. and it will make a big performance in GP. But obviously the graphics would still be bad but you can probably run more graphical options like 2X AA and more shadows but recommended that you keep all settings down also resolution.

I have this shitty computer with 120GB hard disk this shitty card[geforce6600] and a 2.66ghz intel[r] pentuim[r] proccessor my parents bought me for my 9th birthday[im 15 now] they bought it because 2 cores just came out and it was so hyped they tought they just had to buy it ASAP at highest prices...a year later this shitty computer cant run any game on high and now I need to save up money for a better computer...and computers are overpriced as hell in my country T____T

that's true...but yeah if the import prizes are so ridiculous there's not much left to do but save money. You see I'm living in Holland the prizes aren't high but I'm 16 and I want a new computer too (I'm left here with my shitty E6600 dual core which is shit even if it is a dual core, and a 4-year old geforce 8600gt)...but I just can't afford a new computer too. I think everything will become better when we are like 20 and on, as we will have a job and enough money.

In the direct X diagnostic tool it says under display I have 1401 MB of ram but i know this isnt corect. Im thinking maybe 128 or 256 MB. Could I run most of these games listed???

I don't think you could run these games because you have an integrated video chip. The rest of your system is OK but you should buy yourself a new video card like an ATI radeon 5670 which is very affordable.

Wow that's pretty maxed out for that generation system more or less.

I'm running a very very similar setup now and I'm looking at buying a used cheap AGP card to prolong the life of my system until I need to upgrade. The big thing of course is that you've got one of the best video cards that'll go with that MB/Chip. Once you change, you're changing all 3, which also means a change of the RAM and likely new HDD's - totally new computer.

i dont know what you meant but for me the fact that MW2 is a 2-month old game (which is kinda new) and its grafix are heavily tweaked from the original, is quite a surprise for an 6600 card to run. Even the minimum system requirements for the game requires the gt version of the model.

I've had to squeeze this card to get all that i can. Seeing it running a new great game is just great

with nvidia 185.85 vga driver i get 10-15 fps @1280x1024 at Test Drive, and 25-30 fps @ 800x600 on low detials with my geforce 6600.
