There are a lot of accidents but not a huge amount of fatalities. Most of them in Australia are related to cattle mustering and tail rotors striking the ground (and sometimes cattle) :-S Still probably safer than driving or living in the shitty area in a large city

They say red tape is the biggest cause of helicopter accidents, most manufacturers have now switched to yellow tape

Look at the structure. Cabin, canopy, rotors and mast al intact. That's not a wreck or a coffin. Just a pretty hard landing.

DAMN! Distroyed the hell out of it! Whats so BAD about it is if you mess up even just a LITTLE while "driving" one of these, it's GAME OVER! Especially for the helicopter! These things take only SECONDS to be from $200k to instant junk yard!

One of the most sound? As opposed to a lawn mower? they're chinsey and dropping like molotov cocktails. You can fly wood if you like, but I've seen too many of these doubling as coffins to get NEAR one, PERIOD. I'm not interested in being a guinny pig for that company, but obviously quite a few too many are. NOTHING surpasses the safety record and life expectant airworthiness of a Bell.
