Btw look at his hands at impact if you pause it, they are well ahead of the clubhead, hence making it pretty hard to thin it.

You moron if he'd bladed/thinned it it wouldn't gone 3 inches off the ground at that pace. He was hitting a pitching wedge which should have a launch angle of about 45* which looked about right considering the power of the swing. Think before you write.

I think if it was thin he would've done it till he got it right. He's a professional and you don't put videos on a website to make a huge tutorial and then thin the shot. It doesn't make sense. Whether it's the noise your hearing, which i think is just the sound youtube makes for clean golf shots, or the angle of the shot, i still don't think he thinned it.
