  • Awwwwwwwwwwww. Gorgeous little cubs!

  • May it rain those cute fuckers one day (millions of rains drops a hour and each would a drop each cub that would land softly)

  • DAMN CUTE, WISH THEM LONG LIFE AND MORE TO COME.

  • Kimba

  • why no black lion? mother nature is racist T_T

  • they should bread more for i can have one :)

  • Racist.

  • lolololol. soooo cute! i wanna eat one!

  • I wanna buy one!!!!! Now THAT is a babe magnet!!!!

  • The mother and father are looking like, "Hey you stupid humans, bring our babies back over here! Don't you know that we're supposed to train them to be wild and eat you?" Leave it to humans to go messing with the natural order of things. There are alot of baby animals out there that are "cute" when they are young, but that doesn't mean that we need to domesticate all of them just because we want to.

  • If they keep breeding these lions in captivity, other (less desirable) recessive traits will also be expressed. In the long run, it will be damning to their progeny.

  • But given (1) the extreme rarity (being a small recessive gene trait to start with) of white color cubs & (2) the extremely high mortality rate of ALL LION CUBS (from diseases, habitat destruction by humans, competition with other predators, infantacide, fraticide, etc.), in general, extremely few white cubs, even if/when they occur, will survive, naturally, in the wild. But, again, it's not due to their "lack of camouflage."

  • Animal survival depends more on their "fitness," genetically speaking (i.e. whether they're born with all their species requisite features), & health of their habitat. White lions is a MUTATION, not a defect (although inter-breeding a very small pool of white lions WILL eventually result in weakening geno- & phenotypic traits, rendering them less fit). But normal born white cubs are just as capable as tawny ones...

  • We need 5 bullets for the 5 dislikes.

  • take them back to africa fuck you people taking away our cute animals..! u making them soft and gays

  • OMG THEIR ADORABLE!!!!!!!

  • omfg i sheded a tear there fucken amazing

  • gostava de apadrinhar um leozinho branco bjs e felecidades

  • I don't understand people saying that only a portion of the cubs will be white. If its a breeding program, more likely than not through generations, some of the lions would become ww, or both genes being recessive. Actually, if the gene is recessive, they HAVE to have that ww- not Ww (W being the normal fur color, of course) because then the normal coat would show. So, therefore, no portions of the cubs could be "sand" or whatever you'd call a regular colored lion. But, regardless, adorable! =D

  • Are we sure that these babies aren't totally inbred? white tiger definitely are. (google big cat rescue). if they're inbred with a lot of birth defects, then it's cruel!

  • That sound there make is so CUTE!

  • what i would do to hold one of those! gorgeous.

  • wat!? only 200 left?! NOOO! they r so adorable!! they cant go extinct!...i wont let them.......ill need help though! lol

  • @nessa8771 - they probably shouldn't be just bred together... It's a recessive gene, so if a male and female white lion mate with normal lions, all their cubs will look normal, but still have the recessive gene. If those offspring all mate together, about 1/4 will be white lions, 1/4 normal, and 1/2 will have both the recessive and dominate genes like their parents. Breeding them solely with each other dilutes the gene pool.

  • They're like Mo'focking gangsters

  • cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cute cut cute cute cute OMG OMG OMG

  • Damn those little mother fuckers are cute

  • they should name them kimba^^

  • 200 left! that is horrible!!!

    they are sooooo cute :)))

  • haha. aryan lions. thats really funny. but yes, they look really good.

  • I enjoy watching documentaries with BBC narrators cos they pronounce the English words very clearly, I'm impressed..

  • CUTE!!!!!!! OAO

  • cute toy

  • wah!~ the cubs are so cute! and cuddly..

They look so beautiful and graceful when an adult lion. it's sad that theyre so rare. D:

  • ok say that both of the parents have the white coat recessive gene, the chance taht they will give birth to white offspring is only like one quarter, so to give birth to 5 whites amazingly defies odds

it doesnt defy odds too badly bud.. its really a 50% if they both carry recessive gene... there was 5 born correct? 50%/50% 2 died... so its 3/5 white perfectly normal...

  • Comment removed

  • AAHHH!!!!! there so cute!! I hope they are successful in their endeavors.

  • omfg they r sooo cute!!! can i buy 1 lol

  • duh theres only 200 left !!!!!

  • theyre sooo cute !!And the male, hes just GORGOUS !!-- Riley

  • ok say that both of the parents have the white coat recessive gene, the chance taht they will give birth to white offspring is only like one quarter, so to give birth to 5 whites amazingly defies odds

  • for those of you saying that its wrong to breed lions like this

how bout when we breed dogs for purebreeds?

there is a high chance of genetic abnormalities when breeding them like that and sometimes its for traits that we find cuter or more attractive in the animals that would make it hard for the dog to survive in the wild

what im saying is that humans do things for their own selfish reasons, so lighten up

  • It disturbing that the only reason they are breeding these lions is for money and for show cause they are ''cute''. When nature isnt even letting them survive in the wild. They are purposely breeding them casue their cute. These poor animals will never experiene the wild.

  • What would you have them do? Kill the cubs? They didn't say they selected the parents because they both carried the gene, and furthermore I'm sure they didn't force them to mate.

They're never going to be in the wild so there is no issue. I could make the same argument about people breeding lapdogs.

  • A) Yes they did they purposely selected them to make white lions.

    B) I know they didnt force them to mate. I didnt even say that. Stop butting words in peoples mouths. But the 'intention' was that they wud mate and make white lions. They didnt have to force anything a male and a female together and hey presto!

    C) There is a HUGE difference between dog breeding and breeding WILD albino animals.

  • Wow, You read the PETA manifesto...... Kitkatkis, Zoo's buy lions and take care of them. And until you put down the pig blood and actually INVESTIGATE this then I guess you will remain ignorant...........

  • Do any of you people actually read? which part of my comment was about zoos not buying lions? The Zoo's know very well that the lions wud never survive in the wild and are trying to increase their number only for the purpose of selling white cute fluffies not for the purpose of actually saving the species. Theres nothing to be 'saved' anyway. These lions are just a luxury, other than the fur they are like any normal lion.Look at all of these videos first thing they always say is 'cute'.

  • Well duh, That's because they are lion CUBS. Now if you saw a lion in the wild or one in a zoo you may say it's majestic or beautiful or graceful or maybe even you might say "Damn Nature you scary" . Increasing the numbers will ultimately save the species. You know nothing of zoo's or animal refuges so dont even freakin' try.

  • i want all them

  • i want one

  • the crabs on your dick are prolly cuter than your face indeed FAGGOT

  • Comment removed

  • THEY ARE SO BEAUTIFUL. and so cuddly. can i take care of one?

  • these cubs are awesome! but look at 0:02 lol silly fucker

  • If two carriers have a recessive white gene and mate there is a 50% chance that they will have white cubs, but there is also a dominant normal color that is also 50%.

  • how do you actually produce a white lion in the first place and can two white lions reproduce naturally what are the chances of abnormalities , ?

are they suseptable to sunlight in any way ?

would they survive if born in the wild ,

i know its very difficult to reassimalate a previously kept animal but if they were born in the wild

what are the chances of this happening naturally ,

have there ever been a white lions naturally ? so many questions

  • the trait for being a white lion is a recessive trait and 2 carriers of the gene (meaning they have a gene for being a white lion and a gene for being normal) can have offspring that are white lions. the white lions can mate and have cubs and the wont have abnormalities. they arent suseptable to sunlight. they most likely wouldnt survive if born in the wild yes there have been white lions naturally there used to be lots of white lions but they nearly went extinct because they lack camaflouge.

  • lol this is youtube not the discovery channel

  • Belgium Ftw.

  • Ok i dont get it. If you can only make one by mating two of the same kind....Then how did they come about in the first place.

  • Wow , imagine a white male Lion with a Black big mane, that would look awesome.

  • 好色情欧~~~

  • Not godd to make mate 2 white lions, since have ressecive genes, their cubs could be retard or deformed

  • It's not very nice to call baby lions retards.

  • theres always a chance that the lions will be "retarded". PLus it sounds like the guy was talking about the white color being rescesive, it has no effect on their brain

  • study genetics more deeply, loser. Think before you act.

  • cute XD

  • i love them they are so cute

  • defect dna

  • omg their adorable!!! ashanti lol ;DDD

  • If white lions was a species the result would be.

African fawn lion X African white lion = hybrid. How ever this IS NOT THE CASE.They are just genetic oddballs.

White is a Recessive trait so.

    Fawn X Fawn = 100%Fawn(Natural).

    Fawn X Fawn HET-white = 50%Fawn/50%Fawn HET-white.

    White X Fawn = 100%Fawn HET-white.

    White X Fawn HET-white = 50%Fawn HET-white/50%White.

    Fawn HET-white X Fawn HET-white = 25%White/50%Fawn HET-white/25%Fawn.

    White X White = 100%White(oddball).

  • Asian lions are RARE!.White lion though nice looking are only a genetic mutation of African lion.If they pop up in the wild fair enough and if mother nature wants it to live then it will. But man should not be going out our way to reproduce them.Zoos & wildlife sanctuarys'etc should only be about solely natural being of species.Mutations and hybrids should not be consentrated on in the fashion. If a mutation is born in cativeity it should be castrated/spayed and only for show never bred from.

  • How cute! It's like a real life Kimba!

  • Lion King was originally going to be a Kimba remake!

  • sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo CUTE

  • Yes, they are lovely. But.

White lions aren't a separate subspecies. Just a mutation. Usually they can only exist in captivity, and ones that do survive in the wild are the exception, not the rule. It is proven that they have health problems such as rear limb paralysis and serious heart defects due to inbreeding. This artificial breeding should be stopped, as their only 'value' to the lion species is seeing the problems. So the more cubs that are born the more they will suffer.

  • why do they give the cubs shitty english names?

  • For everyone who says these lions "aren't fit to live", first off, I don't think any human has the right to even say that just because some animal can't live in the wild. Why don't you kill off your pet cats and dogs because they can't live in the wild? Dog breeding is the same, they're for our comfort and amusement, deal with it.

Secondly, Animal Planet filmed a white lion in the wild and followed it from birth to adulthood, and it became even more skilled at survival because of its color.

  • well said!

  • :D well said indeed.

  • you go!!!rock on white lions rock and i love them sooo much!

  • @flameow152 You correct. In the general public, even among some socalled experts, there's quite a bit of mis-information/ignorance. Animals, predatory and herbivores alike, use very little or their physical characteristics as "camouflage." (Even chameleons don't; its ability to change colors is mostly for mating & territorial signals, not to "blend in" with the landscape, although some animals can & do do that.)

  • @flameow152 No, you are WRONG. Dog breeding is NOT the same. People breed dogs and half of the dogs bred usually DO NOT get homes. People bring them home and leave them on STREETS. You act like you know what you are saying but you're wrong dude. There are places that I have been to where I see dogs on the street every day. You know what that's from? Dog breeding. Don't even think about saying it's the same.

  • This species isn't fit to survive, lets be honest.

White Lions are on life support.

  • sweet

  • precccciiooousss!!

  • people need to quit trying to make white lions. If they turn out white, fine, but quit inbreeding. Theres a reason there arent many of them, they dont occur naturally it takes inbreeding.

  • For your information, the white fur is caused by a recessive gene, not inbreeding specifically. If two lions are carrying the recessive gene, they can give the cub a white pelt. So it CAN occur natuarlly if two lions are carrying the recessive gene.

  • So Cute :)

  • they arent breed only for entertainment. they are breed to keep them from going extinct. they are produced natually not from some mad experiment, but it is rare. also theyre cute so meh!

  • while this dude is crazy he is right, if they were to go into back into the wild they would quickly go extinct because they have no camouflage so there prey could see them from miles a way, but they are very cute

  • is that how you feel about mentally challenged people haha

  • Aslan reproduced.

  • POOR THING

  • Yes, they are adorable, but zoos should be about breeding species to be reintroduced into the wild one day. A white tiger would die in India. So would a white lion. Having that many white cubs in a litter, I am sure it was incest or very selective breeding to GET that color. jay182uk is right, as cute as they are, they shouldn't exist. Not saying to kill them, but neuter all of them. They shouldn't breed!

  • cute

  • those are beatutiful babies.

i want 10.i love cats big and small.

  • Damn those things are beast! :D freakin sweet.

  • love them*!¡

  • uber cute, when ever i see a lion now i think of the great lion Aslan xD

  • Cute!!!

  • These are Awesome!

  • Cute. But they're gonna grow up to be ferocious

  • I WANT ONE :(((

  • haha their little paws. so cute! it's mind boggling to think how big they will be when full grown...they resemble any domestic cat here.

  • yeah, but the parents can't kill the keppers cause they are in a cage...

  • HOW just How are they "abominations"? Answer me that, will ya.

  • its a shame someone dosen't kill you

    your the real abomination!

  • there basically another breed of Lion you dolt! How could you call such nificent creatures abominations! Let me guess white german shepherds are abominations too? Oh lets not t about white tigers..... your the real abomination! thens nothing that goes agt nature then a human with no heart

  • adorablze

  • che carini i cuccioli smach!

The baby animals are fantastik,a kiss!

    by sara

  • White lions are incest just like white tigers.

i wonder is there WHITE LIGERS? hmm

  • cool i never knew that this animal exist & its nice to see someone standing up for them

  • white lions r the rare in africa.ppl kill em so they can sell them for there meat(in africa)=[.

  • NO, white lions are rare because they stick out like sore thumbs on the brown earth there. Hyenas, leopards, even large birds of prey will eat a lion cub. They have tawny coats to blend in and hide from predators. As cubs they get killed. Much as albino alligators do. The few white lion skins you see are often adults and were raised in captivity to be slaughtered.

  • they are cute

  • I prefer the regular golden colored african lion

  • inbreeding white lions and tigers in captivity, zoo's are only adding to their popularity and thus increasing the prices and demand for white lions and tigers on the illegal animal trading market, of which there is a very busy one indeed. for more information, just google about the white lion and tiger myth, or check out bigcatrescue . org

  • these lions should not even EXIST, instead of saying how 'cute' they are, go read up on the myth of white lions and tigers. the colour of their coats is caused by a recessive gene; white lions and tigers are a result of constant inbreeding, that results in many still births and severe physical defects. Whilst they may be cute, we musn't forget that it is unnatural for these animals to be the colour that they are. In the wild they would fail to survive, and unfortunately, by constantly...

  • these white lions shouldnt be allowed

if u see how they are made u wont like them any more they are very weak

  • lol

  • aww they're adorable!!

  • its interesting how humans are saving species that are disadvantaged like this

    thats cool work!

  • Don´t like when animals are inbread. Not natural.

  • lol

  • so cute !!

  • They look so wonderful!

  • Such a lie when they say the mother wasn't producing enough milk. They were probably afraid the mother would kill them and took them away from her. Because usually animals in a captive closure are not happy and do not want to create life in that closed unhappy living quarters. Truth.

  • well they are much safer in captivity than in the wild because they can't camouflage themselves, making it impossible to catch prey. that is why there are very few of them that survives.

  • The reason they cannot survive in the wild was stated in the video! Two parents carrying the same recessive genes need to mate in order to produce white cubs. And it would be rare for two lions with the same recessive genes to mate.

  • yes but the fact that it's rare is mostly because all the lions carrying the recessive genes are going extinct! that's why there are very few in the wild to begin with, they can't survive. the reason they cannot survive isn't stated in the video, it just tells you why they are white.

  • And the gene is a defect. If these lions lived in a snowy area, they may be able to survive. But they don't. Also, females prefer males with darker manes. A dark mane means a male is at its prime. This female only mates with him because he's the only one around.

  • so fuggin cute!!
