its amazing how fast the technology on computers is progressing today. almost no sense in buying a $3-4k+ computer from a dealer these days. do yourself for 1/3 the price. my first build(tower like 8yrs ago 2001) was great specs lasted about 5-6 yrs before best buy stuff was better. then i bought a AW Aurora 9700 ($3100) 2.6ghz 1gig ram NVidia GF 9700(256MB) going on 3yrs old. only problem ive had with it is not enough fan power (cpu gets hot). AW is nice but id recommend building.
