how about adding some astro turf to the mound to give it nice feel and look. also, you wont slip as much as opposed to a wood flooring. awesome mound, i made my own today with astroturf.
The main boards are cut from 2 x 10 x 8 feet long. You need 4 of these.
The main flat is 24" long. From the other end of the board measure up 2.5". Draw a line on the board the cut the wedge.
The ends are tied together with 1 x 3 pine.
The top is 7/16" thick 4' x 8' waffer board.
Cut it into two pieces. One at 2' long and one at 6' long. If you cut them on an angle they will but together nicer. I forget the angle I used but it turned out nice. The whole thing weighs about 100 pounds.
Great, thanks heaps, Im going to try and make one to fold up like the ones you can buy, I'll try and make it lighter too. I live in Australia and there isnt anything else available. Thanks for your help!

Nice video except the music ruined it not that the music itself was bad just didnt need to be in the video.

Would have been a good video if there wasn't any music covering up your voice.

Nice mount but it needs the rubber slat to define feet positioning...

Hey we had a lot of fun making it!
It has been a few years now and it has held up great.
However there are a lot of dents in the garage door now.
We covered it with AstroTurf carpet for the finishing touch.

nice mound but a nice addition to it would be putting some turf on top

the older kid sucks he can barely reach from the distance and instead of shaping the wood u could just put a 2 by 4 as the mound
