Halo is awesome, but the technology is ridiculous for the time it is supposed to take place.

Actually, in the game the Warthog is not fun on fossil fuels. And there is the whole thing of progression impossible to predict. Some things progress as we expect, some don't. Like the people in the 1950's expected us to all be dressed the same and visiting Jupiter by now. Commercial space travel was supposed to be mastered by now. What I think is truly sad is the obsession of man with constantly making more efficient killing machines.

Uh no, if the engine is really a 12.0 Liter then its would have ALOT of power and torque, like a V12 Black Seris Benz, that would be something close to it, although it goes about 30MPH in the game in reality itd probably go alot faster, its got the torque but not the accelartion or speed.

This Warthog was made for a series of short live action films, which they did already make and release. The movie has been dropped by Paramount and Fox, but Micrososft and Bungie are still looking for more studios to produce it. Basically, the movie is in Limbo.
