Why doesn't this have more views?! They say this is a sexist country.....not when it comes to child support(re:women support) and alimony. I pay $250/month in child support and would you believe when the mother was told that this would be the payment given to her weekly she asked for $450/week?!?!? There needs to be reform. I can't believe how this is still going on.

OK: if you are paying a ton in cs, it's b/c the mom doesn't make much. then, it's your damned fault you created a kid with a loser. also, if you get your kid 50% of the time, (like a good parent would do), there would be no child support. idiots. if you are in arrears, you make me sick. but then again, losers attract losers, don't they?

When I found out that I was going to be a father, Man I was happy as hell !!

I was doing O/T at work had a nice Ring for that socal girlfriend at that time. And she had the nurves, to tell me that she'll think about it.....FUCK HER.

So I sold it, I didnt care....I already new that relationship was DEAD. NO future.......what so ever.

But; I was there for my Child. She was born in 1992 and in 1993 upto now paying that childsupport and were in 2011, STILL with her Problems and Drama.

I Know she didn't ask to be born, Nor ( I ) was ask to pay childsupport - It was by Force.

Now, what is a good father?

My Socal back stabbing Daugther, Has zero education just like her mother.

She's 19 years old with one child that I know of, also works off the books.

Has a man that wont marry.

Hates me for whatever reason?

But; Life goes on. It will be the same routine it worked out good on the EX.

The thing that bothers me is, How can a grown ASS person.

Be on welfare and on section 8 - on the DL (With one child at that time) - with my socal own kid, for 16 1/2 years !!

On the DL- Be married ( still is ) with Two more Kids, and on welfare and on section 8 ( with her husband ) Now is 18 1/2 years later and still on welfare and on section 8, But working off the books for 4 years now.

Plus childsupport from me.

The Law In NYC is upto 21 years old....I hate that shit !!

But; the next (EX) plan is - when my socal Daugther turns 21 years old.

The Ex will RUN.........RUN to the Courts and TELL the Judge, that my socal Daugther is attending some fake ass school ( With no proof what so ever ) Just to push it upto 23 years old.

Now ------ wouldn't that be nice??

A man or even a father, sure love's to make the EX's life worthwhile.....Just for money.

Such as- OVERSEEING- on that CHILD, By Getting Married to their babydaddy(s) ASAP.,Working on the Books, Graduating, and even Joining the US forces.

My socal daugther dropped out of school, and is working off the books, I've been paying this socal Childsupport payments for a good 18 1/2 years "my socal daugther is 19 y'o and a parent and works off the books", ----why off the books---"Why not pay taxes", Is just to proof to the courts, BY HER MOTHER. that my socal daugther is still living with her, just to collect childsupport. And the Jugde knows this.

Those are the part that hurts me.

Dropping out of school and not paying taxes.

@jerryleethe1 Yes you are fucked, so is my son, and my other son before that, the only solution for him was to sign adoption papers which means the court stole my son by making him choose between being able to eat and paying child support and adoption.

The laws are the same all over, my sons live in Kansas and its no better there. It's shameful and ridiculous but that's life in the good ole republic/democracy called the USA. Land of the free? I don't think so.

I saw a news article about homeless man who was ordered to pay child support but he couldnt do it being homeless, then his mother died and left some money so he can get off the street. But nope worthless ex came along and said "you got past due child support" I don't care if you are homeless. That child was grown & she agreed to a paternity test. Turns out ITS NOT EVEN HIS CHILD but the court said best interests of the child pay up hes still homeless - TRUTH

If there is such a big concern for the child's welfare, then why do they tax your money before they get the 17% or whatever the percentage may be? My biggest beef is the percentage is based on an average of your initially calculated income, how about the percentage in a real time scenario, what you actually made that week, working overtime, normal or unemployed......that is reality and the reality that a child would be facing if living with you and what they had to live on that week!

All righty then; Question: Why does CSEA place more emphasis on money for my kids than parenting time with my kids? Case in point: There exists a Child $upport Enforcement Agency for those who need help with the expenses of raising their kids. Why is there not a Child Parenting Time Enforcement Agency for those who want to have time with their kids? I crave time with my kids but cant afford an attorney to enforce a court order. And the gvmt. could care LESS! Sickening!!!
