This song originally inc. music by Bach at the beginning. Anyone know the name of the piece? + O Fortuna from Orff's CARMINA BURANA shows up in several other songs as a sampling, ENIGMA being the most famous. O Fortuna evokes the image of priests, monks, and nuns pleading for God to spare them from the plague. This whole album is definitely worth your time. Well, both APB's and Orff's.
@TheRoseanne58 Your Email has brought me to your channel and this song. It's Holloween eve and could not imagine a more perfect song to set the scene. A masterpiece indeed ! Thanks Anne for channelling this to to me. Thanks to the uploader as well .
I so love this song. Yes, it's on the original CD with the cover you've shown here. Just not the same without the Carmina Burana backup. They conceived the song as their version of a theme to the film Bram Stoker's Dracula. Thanks so much for posting!
I've got the album this is off, but my version of this song doesn't have the Carmina Burana sample on it. Have I been ripped off or did they hve to change it for copyright or something?
i agree with what the other guy said. i am pissed. i got the album "7" and was totally turned off since they didnt have it -_- anyone know where i can find this version?
@Jermyn78 copyright - from what i reckon it's more like the first edition has it, and the reissue doesn't - similar to what happened to kmfdm (i think for the song Libeslied - i should double check, on their album Naive anyway), so it pretty much look like a copyright issue
@juliengc I wouldn't know about KMFD as I don't follow this type of music. A friend of mine does which is how I became aware of this band. I'd got the cd because I thought it had Carmina Burana on it so was disappointed it didn't. I mean, it's still a cool song but the overall effect is like having sex with a condom on. Still good, but not the same...
Favorite song to dance to :D

@FBobby No, the carmina burana sample was removed from the re-release of this album. This is from the original, out-of-print version of the album.

@metallrose At the begining is a part from Fuge in D Minor, by js Bach (I think), then the 'Oh Fortuna' bit is from Carmina Burana.

You're right they changed it due to copyright, so what you got is the Re-release with a couple differences from the original.

Its a bit of a pisser as if I'm honest, its the only reason I bought the album! The other stuff is good but I want my Carmina Burana!
