This fight should have been more brutal and hardcore since Sonya and Kano absolutely hate each other, these two would have went at it and it would have been a close fight.

In this film Kano couldn't fight Sonya the way he wanted because Shang Tsung told Kano earlier in the film to only humiliate her and that's it and not harm her too much so the fight was fixed to begin with. Shang Tsung just threw Sonya a bone cause he got a boner watching her fight.
