  • Cont. am I saying it can't be done, no .. But coloring relaxed hair can be damaging especially if your hair is already in a dry state. Moisture is so important in all hair types. If you want to know more please let me know

  • Not sure if you would want to henna. I only think you can henna safely on natural hair. You are a beautiful girl and I have read so many judgmental comments on your blog. As a hair stylist I would like to offer advice if I am not to late doing so. Color is a harsh chemical that doesn't coexist well with relaxed hair.

  • hi what do you use in your hair for the growth

  • Hello, how are you? My question for today is, what is the best shampoo that one can use for damage hair? Thank you

  • what I advise you it to use amla oil. it'a great oil wich gonna moisturize your hair. you can use it daily but for better results you can do a prepoo with it. it helps staightening , strenghenin and thicking hair. you will tell me the results bye

  • You can buy it on Amazon

  • You can buy it on Amazon

  • If you use Coconut oil daily your fairs color will get darker and shinier. Try Dabra Coconut oil, it contains henna and other great things to strenghten your hair.

  • hi there, all the best with your hair goals! i just wanted to know if you went to manchester university? you look so familiar lol

  • That's how I feel about my hair, I want it to get "Pretty". LOL! That's why I'm dying mine black so it can look shiny and exotic because I notice with the color we have (I have about your color) it makes it look dry and boring all the time. Try dying with henna.

  • Do be very careful when dying your hair a lighter color. Please if you do not know what you are doing let someone who does know. I had a bad experience with dying my relaxed hair. Well, someone who knows about hair and does hair dyed it , but I did not know how to take care of it. My hair stopped growing in the crown. It was truly a nightmare. My hair was so healthy before I dyed it.

  • I am glad you are happy with your hair. Your hair looks like my hair did before I cut it short. Then I let it grown back then I chopped it off and went natural. Seriously the reason I did that is because I did not know what to do to my hair except wear it in a pony tail or curl it and wear it down. You should check out my channel. Thank you!

  • Your hair is growing beautifully. Keep up the good work!

  • i like your accent, so cute.

  • I love your natural hair!!!

  • U R SUCH AND INSPIRATION FOR ME ........ THANK U SOOOOOO MUCH FOR TAKING THE TIME TO SHARE UR KNOWLEDGE.....MUUUUAAAHHHH!!!

  • i used henna as a coniditioning treatment it's great, if your worried about it making your hair feel dry you can mix oils, Rhassoul clay in that will make it soft & conditioned.

  • i've been doing the challenge with you, i just haven't had a chance to do a respond video to your video. Just have no time. Your hair is lovely. Its growing along fine. :-)

  • I just used Garnier fructis herbashine in 200 soft black (ammonia free) to dye my hair and it was wonderful. my color was like yours and it turned almost jet black. my hair looks healthy but I oiled and moisturized right after dyeing it...it took me 25 mins max. :-)

  • if you are afraid of henna you could try cassia once and see how your hair responds. the effects of cassia are temporary and it doesn't add color unless you are blond (subtle golden hue).

you hair is growing and it is very neat on the ends!

  • a nice cut will deff make your hair more "pretty".lol

People underestimate what a nice cut will do for our hair....go to a salon (that specializes in afro-textured hair) and ask for a gloss, it made my cousins hair look soooo nice.

  • i recommend ghds every once in a while..my hair used to look similar to yours when i was relaxing it myself and not going to the hairdresser but with regular trims every 6weeks and getting it relaxed at a good hairdressers its long now

  • Why don't you try a coffee rinse o darken your hair & give dark tint?

  • Do you want your hair jet black? If so, you can do the henna and then indigo treatment. I have fine 4b hair as well and I usually put an egg in my DC or silk amino acid (1 tablespoon) and wow! My hair has voulume and bounce. My hair loves protein. i encourage you to try it one day. i am sure you will love it!

  • NO HENNA GOOGLE IT HUN! Relaxer, texlating..........

  • Youve made amazingggg...progress. I'm very impressed. Very.

  • Thanks for sharing! Congrats on the results/growth

  • Hi, I realy love your videos.

I've got a problem though DANDRUFF, how do you get rid of it while my hairs in braids?

    Thank you <3

  • congrats on the hair growth Patricia :D what video is it that you explain how you maintain your own hair under the weave? And do you have a weave maintenance video?

  • @naturalhairgrwthshow please be careful if u choose to use indigo henna and do your research...if its not full integrity there's a lot of danger to it. sometimes companies mix different plant byproducts with henna to give it the dark color which can be dangerous. Natural henna isn't black or indigo. ***not judging or telling u what to do with your hair; just being thoughtful in case u didn't know***

  • Hi im having trouble with my hair it feels dry but is really greasy. is there any products that i should be using

(i recently dyed my hair, is this why my hair has started feeling dry??)

  • @arsenalhon01 oils or grease actually coat your hair, so that no water can get in or out. you need a special tonic for your scalp! you can use apple cider vinegar mixed with water after shampooing and before conditioning. this way u wont get the smell.. two weeks after the hairdye your hair will be softer again! its chemicals, keep that in mind.

  • @arsenalhon01 most likely !!! dying your hair is a harsh process on your like relaxing (does not means its bad ) buts make sure u deep condition your hair to get back the moisture...you can use a hair condtioner plus a natural oil and apply it to root to tip of your hair and leave it for a minimum of an 30 min then rinse with lukewarm water.. make sure you put in a leave n and remositurize ur hair.. hope that helps

  • I see the progress in your hair and it looks really good just wondering if you resolved the problems you were having previously as though they relate to me... (the short patch of hair in the crown area) keep me posted on your progress and love your vids and how is your sister doing wth her hair?

  • You said that your hair is stiff and dry ... defo try moisturising twice a day to keep it frm becoming dry.

  • Great progress, I know you mentioned you use aphogee. That's a good choice seeing as you texturise. Maybe to combat the stiffness from protein try applying your deep conditioner, just enough to coat the strands. And then applying heated olive oil over. Leave for 1hour plus. And then rinse out. Then I advise setting on rollers, flexing rods. Rather than the blowdryer which sucks the moisture out. That should make your hair more supple and give it weight to hang down. Pls make a vid if you try this x

  • y did u rush this vid? :(

  • Your hair has grown alot!! Have you tried doing a roller set to give it more body so it doesn't seem so stiff? I have not watched all your videos, but I do enjoy them. Keep up the progress!

  • i don't like my hair color either the color makes my hair looks to dry. I think ur hair is cute ;-)

  • Great progress!

  • Your hair is growing nicely, keep up the good work ;-)

  • Your hair is pretty :) It has grown a lot and is thick - texturizing was the way to go for you.

  • Love the progress you've made. Keep it up! And a kind of off topic question but where do you get your weave from?

  • you have made a lot of progress with length .... so great !!!!

  • You've been doing such a good job with your hair. It looks great.

  • Good growth, hon! Yay!

  • Your hair is long. Good job.

  • I know exactly how you feel by making it pretty I feel that way too sometimes but... Maybe you can do some hot oil treatments or moisturize treatment with castor oil to make your hair thicker, fuller, and healthy and go to a professional and let them flat iron it ! Just dont let them clip your ends lbs ! Good Luck : )

  • Your is pretty and it grew also! Many blessings on your hair journey! God bless.

  • Awesome growth!

  • So how are you going to get your hair pretty? Are you going to dye it? Do you think that would be a good idea to do on relaxed hair?

  • @MrsCharlicious

im probably going to use henna indigo

  • wow your hair has grown! its so lovely and thick!

Henna is gonna make your hair look even more orangey and red. I used to like henna but i don't like the way it makes my hair look and feel when i use it now. Maybe its because i do a henna gloss (with Herbal Essences HH) but i don't know! it just makes my hair look like its like straw

  • @PameraFromEngrand

hey pam, long time! I was thinking of using henna indigo like 'Truthishair' shes on youtube...some say it makes the hair feel hard and dry...but hy hair likes protein....hmmmm...Ill have to think a little more then...thanks a lot

  • My hair is getting longer too but it doesn't look good...like nice and healthy.

  • ur hair has DEFINITELY grown a lot and I completely understand what you mean by its getting longer and now you have to make it "pretty". I feel the same way about mine. thanks for sharing.

  • and finally decided to go natural

  • ur hair is growning realy nice,i think that if u kinda use some of the methods u used to use wen u were natural to get ur hair to where u want i like the deep contindioning and maybe some hot oil treaments and such, when i was relaxed and was getting my hair back to its healthy stage i used to do hair mayonase treatments once a week and leave it in over night, and i if i was going to flat iron i wud opt to not use the blow dryer....but ull get ur hair where u want it i did b4 i wrecked it again

  • It has grown. I feel like I'm on a personal hair journey challenge with you lol U keep me motivated :)

  • Your hair has grown a lot!!! Congrats :D

  • hey, i do see progress. Your hair has grown a lot!!! You will be bsl in no time. Keep it up, I'm rooting for u!!!

  • my hair looks the same as yours it is brown i hate it but am to scared to dye it

  • well done hun relaxer has been good to you lol

  • You've made progress! Well done!

  • Nice, its looks thick at the ends which is pretty impressive, alot of people are stringy ends

  • great growth over these past few month!!! you should get your hair roller set or pressed (with lots of protectants) and you hair will look lovely in the end. you might also want to get the ends trimmed because i've noticed that when my ends frizz, clipping them calms it down a LOT!

    happy growing!

  • =/ i feel like it'd be more aesthetically pleasing while straightened if it was natural. congratulations on your growth though.

  • Are you a member of KISS hair forum? You should really check it out. Nice growth!

  • Oh Patricia your hair is growing. I am in inspired to take my hair growth journey seriously! Cheers.

  • yaeee good job!!!

  • @dadacomedian. Lol, funny u say that, cause ive subbed to her chanel a little while ago, n thawt the same thing. Glad for the clearance up on that...lol. Thought I was the only one who thawt that. But im well impressed wif her grwth...keep it up. Very gud.

  • Yaay a hair update. Girl my hair is actually the same colour as yours you know... but i have recently died it with a rinse (blue black which comes out black) and I am liking it a lot. I hope it's not doing any damage to it though. I don't think it is cos it's not permanent. Darker hair tends to look a lot healthier to me - not sure why but yeah. You can give it a try. Your hair is doing well and growing. Just do lot's of deep conditioning treatments and it will be prettier. Hugs!!

  • Its coming along quite nicely! I give it one more year of growth and it will be amazing!!! Good luck

  • My friend!! Your hair is beautiful! It's yours!!! Stop being hard on yourself... Your hair isn't looking stiff. Love ya!

    Cees~

  • You're hair looks like mine at this point. It's long, I just don't like the way it looks and so I always keep it up in a phony pony or braided in a half wig

  • I love how thick your hair is,mine is quite thin ,could you give me any tips please x

  • @pumakel1 number 1 things is not to relax bone straight.......and also try something like castor oil.......thin/fine hair is genetic

  • just looked at your 1st youtube video, WOW your hair has really grown!! Great Job! I hope you get the results that you want in the time you desire! :]

  • Yaaay! I'm so happy for you. All of your hard work is paying off! I'm where you USED to be-anxious to get to SHOULDER length. Aaargh! I'm sooooo close. Thanks for this motivating quick vid!

  • your hair is really long.. so jealous. my hair keeps breaking off any advice?

  • @MsHoping4u If your hair is too dry you may need to deep condition and moisturize (not grease or oil) with a water-based moisturizer more often. If your hair is not dry yet still breaking off you may need more protein in your hair. Hair that is either too dry or too moist can lead to breakage. Also applying too much direct heat or overprocessing can lead to breakage.

  • @MiliB256 i know im late but thank you for the advice. it really worked

  • @MiliB256 i know im late but thank you for the advice. it really worked. because before i was prone to always straightening my hair. getting a good deep condition make my hair feel new and soft

  • Congrates on the hair growth

  • Missed your vids; thanks for the update. You're hair is really getting quite long :)

  • You're hair is making a lot of growth progress. Good job. :-) As far as getting your hair "pretty" I say, get roller sets as opposed to flat ironing.

  • We have the same hair color. I used to hate mine too until I thought about how rare it is and how many people actually want that hair color.

  • I miss you uploading videos wah

  • Your hairs grown liking the channel

  • Thanks for sharing your hair looks great.

  • ur channel is called NaturalhairGrwthShow when u relax ur hair...

  • @dadacomedian I think she started out as a natural then later on down her natural hair journey chose to relax. I don't think Youtube lets you change your user/channel name. Plus I think she had a lot of subs, that would be a headache to get them all switch over to another channel. *shrugs*

  • @Mz0mega dats true.... i still love her vids tho

  • Nice vid! Long, healthy hair IS pretty love! Just enjoy it!

  • your progress is inspiring! <3

  • your hair looks fab! congrats on your hard earned length! i have been your subscriber for a while and i can def see your growth. you are such an inspiration to those of us with hair growth goals. thank you for sharing your journey with us, i am so happy for you!!!

  • Your hair looks amazing and it's getting really long! Go girl!

  • Your hair looks wonderful and healthy hope to see you at BSL by January perhaps?........and congrats on the length and thickness..all smiles..

  • its really growing :)

  • Wow, your hair is really growing!! Keep up the good work girl, you'll have bsl(bra strap level) hair in no time. : D

  • I normally have stiff frizzy hair after a relaxer too but last night I relaxed and haf smooth results for the first time. I made two changes so i dont know which helped but I used joico kpak reconstructor for 5 minutes before neutralizing and did an ACV rinse of 1/2 cup acv, 1/2 cup water and 1/3 cup aloe Vera juice after deep conditioning. I applied coconut oil after the acv rinse then air dried. I used the blow dryer this morning and I don't even need to flat iron now.
