for those of you who don't know, cubby retires the disc after every ACE, which means two things, one...its definetely not luck...and two, hes spent alot of money on Golf Disc's... - Jay
Jay, You called it early on when my Ace production started to soar in 2005 how prolific I would be. looking foward to our next round. Jay was behind the video camera on my 38th Ace and has witnessed many Aces.
CUBBY!! It's me again. I just disc golfed for my second time today. It was packed so I was hesitant on playing a second round, but i went for it and I ACED THE FIRST HOLE!! It is only a mere 173 feet but there are a lot of trees to dodge and it still felt AMAZING! Only one person saw it and I wish I had proof. It sounds very unlikely since I'm such a rookie, but I would not lie about this kind of thing and definitely not you. Even I'm not afraid to admit it was 99% luck. Hope you believe me. :)
BTW, I beleive you and I am happy that you shared your first ace experience with me. I know the felling of the first ace and it is a very special one.
What I like about you so much Cubby, is that you're a celebrity in your craft, yet take time to post every hole-in-one and interact with your fans. Keep it up!
Thanks so much for your kind words. I never could have imagined how much fun I would be having playing Disc Golf and sharing the experience with others that can appreciate the passion. It's hearing from good peopel like yourself that always renews my faith in humanity. Keep in touch my friend.
Thanks Vinny! It was a fun basket to design and construct. Congrats on getting your DGA MAch Lite. I looking forward to putting on that target someday.
The hole is short. 160 feet. The throw has to be low duw to over hanging branchs 40 feet down the tee and the Defender target is barely visible as it is tuck between two evergreen trees with limited entry room to the basket.
I don't Belive this You Score from eny plase :D

you must have a lot of shots where the disc hits the camera. How many cameras have you gone through?
docfilmsguy 2 years ago
Three one from getting wet at the worlds in miami. Two from missed ace shots, one popped the lense off the camera.
DiscGolfer 2 years ago
so how many discs are you throwing on average before you get one to go in on one hole? You have some awesome shots!
docfilmsguy 2 years ago
Not sure, but I have been blessed with a knack for finding the chains.

in your opinion what is the best putter for an intermediate player?
iTheft 3 years ago
I really think you would like throwing the Omega Supersoft Putter. I sue 164 grams.
DiscGolfer 3 years ago
how many grams do you throw with
ajaakola 3 years ago
I prefer 175 grams. Although I use a 164 gram putter.
