  • Hi Pat

  • @e7eb7 this is great.thankyou for sharing.....x

  • We met Pat at the Hiway 61 museum last week. He played for us, took us to his fathers grave for another few songs then to his home where he showed off some mementos and his work in progress Mojo hand.

Pat is a very interesting and informed character, a true living link to the past. The Delta blues is in his DNA. Meeting and listening to him is a memory I'll cherish the rest of my life.

  • I met Pat last year and all I can say is WOW! He is so nice and his music is so pure. He even took the time to draw my daughter a picture, take pictures with us, play us some songs, AND gave me a spiritual rock...and he did ALL of this in the midst of being interviewed by a local tv crew! We just love him.

  • Just saw Pat at Leland Blues museum, mid April, 2011 and at Clarksdale 'Juke Joint Festival' the following Sat. Did the rte 61 Delta Blues run from NoLa to Memphis. Thanks Pat... you made my journey! Got me a Diamond Eyed Cat too...

  • On a recent trip to Mississippi, I've met Pat and he played some deep acoustic blues for me and my family. This guy is awsome.

  • This really is great...thanks for posting it!

  • It doesn't get any more real than this...

He's lived the blues and lived to sing about them.

  • Pat, the son of the king of the deep south....the great JAMES SON THOMAS . . . .

  • Wonderful! I just loved it, I really did---I like this type of music----all kinds.

  • Beautiful, intense, awesome!
