Because the OD808 incorporates an SDPT footswitch, converting it to true-bypass using a Fulltone 3DPT switch may be of interest to you.

Love my maxon. MOst people think it ture bypass. Its not. read the manual, it sayes it there.

Maxon made the 808 during the 80's for Ibanez.

Now, they made the OD808 for their own. ;)

those guys are right, but the BIGGEST difference is that TS-808 does not have true bypass and the OD-808 does.

I used a TS9 before, but i wasn't completly satisfied of the tone. For me, the OD808 is better. ;)
