I read somewhere that they used recycled fuel oil, from cars and other trains. Then you'd also have to factor the amount of energy used to haul that much weight and number of people vs. fuel consumption. There may be more of a balance.
i hope so. it's going to take just about one more ''environmental, global warming nut''
to put me over the top. if i find out it's one of those whack jobs that in any way put an end to my steamers, i think i'll go beserk.
