I've never seen this movie. Is that a Triumph TR7 Jimmy McNicol is driving?? LOL - my friend had one and it was the slowest , most underpowered piece of shit he ever owned. It overheated constantly, leaked oil and had no power steering so it handled like crap. No WAY a TR7 does ANY of the stunts in this clip.

I used to get this movie mixed up alot with the smokey and the bandit films when i was younger,and thinking Jackie Gleason was in it.I almost rented it years ago,but someone told me it was a stupid movie and wasn't worth the waste.

My thoughts exactly, it's a TR7! A TR7! Surely theres a better car to get chased in then a TR7. Your so right. Um the car has a top whack of maybe 110-115 mph. They could've chased him on foot or waited for some part of the great british electrics or build quality that was so good at this time to go badly wrong.

I don't think that car actually is a TR7. You could never do stunts like that in a TR7. Seriously though, I know it's a TR7, I was just making a cruel joke at TR7. These cars were not only ugly, but horribly built and, not really as exciting or sporting as this they're making it look in this chase. Infact, he probably would've rolled it trying to do what he's doing at 3:00-3:04.
